You might not have heard, but Spain is currently undergoing its own version of a George Floyd moment. Scaled down, of course — nothing can really match American production value — but nonetheless, there is a storm brewing, one resembling what much of American sociopolitics has been reduced to: racism and victimhood grifting.

A storm — although in actual fact, it’s more like a tempest in a teacup, as is often the case with these sort of black grievances. It all started last weekend when Real Madrid Football Club went to Valencia to play that city’s main football (or soccer, if you prefer) team. (more…)

One of the Vatican’s favorite films is 1986’s The Mission. It was one of 15 films selected by the Catholic hierarchy in 1995 for its list of recommended religion films. (Yes, the Pope released a recommended film list in 1995.)

The Mission is an unsurprising inclusion. It features Jesuit heroes challenging evil colonists on behalf of oppressed natives. (more…)

I was happy to see the high amount of activity on my last article on the future of the white demographic in the USA. As I had hoped, I received counter-arguments. The most common criticism of my predictions references Latin America as a contradiction of them. It is claimed that Latin American countries have been engaging in miscegenation for over 300 years, and yet there are, it is claimed, staunch and powerful white minorities in these countries still, due to resistance to intermarriage. Populism is an oft-discussed topic in political circles of all stripes, and us dissidents tend to look at it as the best chance at present to put any sort of identitarian ideas into the mainstream, or at the very least as the best chance of stopping mass migration. I wrote a report on the state of populism in Europe not long ago for that very reason.

As I said in that article, there is no “fixed” populist platform; merely a handful of ideas that unite parties under the populist label. These are mainly anti-elitism, anti-immigration, and an appeal in some form to disprivileged native populations. Quite often, it is also simply a matter of the media deciding to call someone or some party populist.
