Winter Olympics is white pride worldwide incarnate .
also, great way to see foundational differences in men and women’s strength, not like just you know raw lifting heavier stuff, but the power I the moving of their bodies. I caught a bobcat on an outdoor camera one time and someone I sent it too said that’s just a house cat with a bob tail. I was like dude no way. The way the bob cat moved (and yes the broader shoulders too) but I’m talking about the simple power of movement as movement. There was something simply more powerful about the way this cat moved.
same thing with me and women. I was watching the cross country event which makes me sore just watching. But I first watched the girls. And the Olympics are cool cause it’s so infrequent that you forget it so watching it is like a reset. So I was watching the girls cross country event and I was like woah that’s hard that’s brutal look at these Nordic girl-beasts! I was impressed. But today turned on the tube and it was the men’s cc. Practically different species. The power of the men’s movement was so stark.
what was the topic? Oh yeah, Winter Olympics is totally wpww!
i’ll say too, theres a real aesthetic difference in the looks of winter Olympics athletes. Whats interesting is the superbowl is being promoted at the same time. So you get these lean tall nortics (some asians, but not so many) juxtaposed to the um, football types. Its somethign that i never thought about. Most of these winter atheletes are just beautiful too, compared to summer games which i can’t watch. Most of the women are like 6s-and 7s in the face. and so many blondes.
