Trump: Without Illusions or Apologies, 2024

Greg Johnson

1,319 words

I recently re-read the following article from 2020, where I made my case for Donald Trump. I thought it was well-argued and prescient. Although I am even more disappointed by Trump now than four years ago, I think the arguments still stand. All you need to do is mentally substitute “Harris” for “Biden.”

I know many decent, race-conscious whites who want to sit out the upcoming election. I want to change their minds. I want all of my American readers who can vote to vote for Donald Trump. I understand why people are upset with Trump. He had a great opportunity to really turn things around, and he bungled it. Beyond that, his campaign has been terrible. His pandering to non-whites while taking white votes for granted is especially disgusting. He really deserves to lose.

But:

  • Trump did keep a lot of his promises. He did many good things for whites and avoided many bad things for whites. For a rundown, see Jared Taylor’s analysis here. (I also endorse the analyses by Kevin MacDonald and Spencer Quinn.) It seems like a failure measured by the standard of what we would have liked Trump to have done–what needed to be done to save America. But it is still an improvement, especially when measured by what would likely have happened under a Hilary Clinton administration.
  • A Biden-Harris administration would undo everything good Trump has done and work to accelerate white demographic decline, i.e., the Great Replacement or white genocide. The goal is a permanent Leftist one-party state ruling over a non-white majority, at which point it will be impossible for whites to preserve ourselves within the present political system. Biden has already promised an amnesty and path to citizenship for eleven million illegal aliens. Of course the real number is probably twenty or thirty million. Biden deserves to lose even more than Trump does.
  • A Biden-Harris administration would accelerate the already alarming trends toward totalitarianism. There will be more private censorship and deplatforming. There will be more state incursions on our first and second amendment rights. It will be increasingly difficult for white advocates to say or do anything to turn these trends around.
  • If Biden wins, you will have an “Oh my God, what have I done?” moment that you will have to live down for the rest of your life. Having elected militant and “competent” anti-whites, perhaps you will repent while sharing a cell with Richard Spencer in Guantanamo.

The bottom line: If Trump loses, we all lose. If Trump wins, we have more of a chance to win. Ultimately, white identitarians are going to be the ones who save white America. Trump was just an opportunity, just a warmup act. When he is gone, real national populists will be waiting to take the stage. But that future may be canceled if Biden wins. So vote Trump.

Some people in reliably red or blue states might argue that their votes won’t count anyway. I used to think that, but I was wrong. Although the election is determined by electoral college votes, remember when Hillary beat Trump in the popular vote? Suddenly, the entire establishment developed Constitutional amnesia and treated it as a great affront to democracy that millions of illegals voting in California could not put Hillary in the White House. Trump needs every vote he can get, popular and electoral. So get out there and deliver them.

Some people argue that the Republicans will never stop ignoring whites and pandering to non-whites unless white people stop voting for them. The sad truth is that they will still do the same thing even if people do stop voting for them, because they would rather lose than be racist. We can’t change these people’s minds by rolling up a newspaper and swatting them like bad dogs. We’ll only change their minds by destroying the fake moral code that says that racism is the worst thing in the world, but only for whites. That’s one of our main tasks at Counter-Currents. Voting for Trump will make it easier for us to stay on the web and fight this crucial intellectual battle.

The cargo cults of Melanesia started during the Second World War when the Allies dropped supplies from airplanes. To this day, the natives hope to make the white man rain down free stuff upon them again by building thatched models of airplanes. Some white advocates seem to think that engaging in a cargo-cult imitation of petulant blacks will make the GOP rain down favors on us.

But it won’t happen. The GOP knows that white people are the adults in the room. We think about the common good. We think about the long run. We think about the lesser of two evils. And we pull the GOP lever once again. That’s what I want you to do this time. Vote for the Orange Man. It’s important.

There are people on the Right criticizing Trump for being pro-Jewish. As if there had ever been any reason to expect otherwise. I didn’t vote for Trump because I thought he would be anti-Jewish. I voted for him because he was significantly more pro-white than his opponent. That is still the case.

There are people on the Right criticizing Trump for being pro-black, pro-Hispanic, and pro-Asian. As if there had ever been any reason to expect otherwise. I didn’t vote for Trump because I thought he would be anti-black, etc. I voted for him because he was significantly more pro-white than his opponent. That is still the case.

There are people on the Right who condemn Trump for being pro-gay. Imagine thinking that Trump would make the Republicans less gay. But, again, I didn’t vote for Trump because I thought he would be anti-gay. I voted for him because he was significantly more pro-white than his opponent. That is still the case.

Some of the same people who hold Trump to these delusional standards mock the delusions of the MAGAtards, Qtards, and other Trump cultists.

But I have no illusions about Donald Trump. I have no apologetics to offer for his failings. Grading him by absolute standards, he deserves to lose. But elections are graded on a curve. And Biden deserves to lose more. So I want you to do the reasonable thing, the responsible thing, the right thing, the white thing, and cast your vote for Donald Trump.

What do I think is going to happen?

This election was the Democrats’ to lose, simply based on demographics. But with the Biden-Harris ticket, they might have been stupid enough to lose it. It was a miracle that Trump was elected in the first place. It will be an even bigger miracle if he gets reelected. But my gut is telling me that he will pull it off.

The only thing I am certain of, however, is that no matter who wins, the other half of the electorate will declare the result illegitimate: Democrats because they are entitled brats. Republicans with very good reason. If Biden wins, it will be because of demographic replacement, ballot fraud, and tech censorship. If Biden wins, he cheated, and Trump should not concede under any circumstances.

What are we going to do at Counter-Currents if Biden is elected? More of the same. The headwinds will be stronger, so we will just have to work harder — all of us will, including you, dear reader. But if Biden does win, tens of millions of white Americans are going to wake up to the fact that their country has been stolen — and their future as a people mortally threatened — by demographic displacement and an opposition handicapped by the delusion that racism is the greatest evil, but only when it favors white people. There will be a lot more people receptive to our arguments. Even though it will become much more difficult to reach them. And perhaps it will be too late.

Overall, I can’t accept Harris because we know she’ll usher in another 10-15 million migrants. My neighborhood has changed so much in the past four years: shootings and street takeovers at night, graffiti, trash everywhere, and all I hear out the window is now Spanish. I almost miss the homeless people who used to live and get drunk on the street behind me. At least when they fought and screamed at night, it was in English!

But there’d be one silver lining to a Harris victory. There are a lot of bad economic trends ongoing, and Trump can’t fix them. When things come crashing down, which might happen soon, and when food and housing prices keep going up, which is guaranteed, I want Kamala at the helm. People are too simple-minded to search for root causes, and I want her and the Democrats to take the blame, not the GOP (even though both parties deserve it)…

Not just for prowhites, but for any normal, non-welfare-or-government-union-parasitical, non-leftist whites, it really is a mixed choice. I and some friends have been wrestling with this. Most of us live in solidly blue or red states, so we’re voting for Trump (I did) just to run up his popular vote numbers. But it’s a tough choice for my prowhite friend in Vegas, and pretty much for the reasons you outlined.

Trump will be less antiwhite than Harris, and he will do a few good things (and there is the possibility of more: what if he really does deport tens of millions of alien colonizers, per his rhetoric? we know Harris, OTOH, will try to give them citizenship). But, we really need the GOP to control one or both chambers of Congress for the indefinite future, so as to thwart all the awful future progtard garbage. And Trump’s selfish lack of discipline, and general unpopularity except among the weird MAGA base (I have at least two friends who are Trump cultists, so I have some sense of what that base is like), is a huge GOP down-ballot liability. I hate to sound like a Wall Street Journal Reagantard, but they’re not wrong when they endlessly observe that Trump has done very little to expand the GOP voter base (technically, that’s untrue, but I think reality is that Biden’s and the Democrats’ extremism and incompetence has moved some people to the GOP; Trump himself makes no effort to curtail his personal excesses so as to appeal outside his base, which is selfish of him, given the national stakes). My and my pals’ fear is that Trump will lose us Congress – and then we will get a horror show like CA Gov Gavin Newsom as President with an all-Democrat Congress in 2029.

OTOH, if we have a two-chamber GOP Congress, plus a Kamala Presidency, she will get eaten up by the GOP. We will make more gains in Congress in 26 and 28, and she, being so flaky and extreme, will likely lose in 28, and possibly to Vance or DeSantis or someone much sharper and more determined, and with a less narcissistic personality, than Trump. I’m not sure this outcome wouldn’t be better than a narrow Trump win.

Much-needed direction by you to Whites that are eligible to vote as the clock ticks down.

Trump is more “pro-Jewish” than folks on the so-called Right realize. Read about him here: “Let’s Talk About Donald Trump” at nationalvanguard.org. The author opines, then backs his opinion up with facts:

Donald Trump is the most Jewish non-Jew I have ever come across. Just in this month of October, perhaps goaded by his Jewish son-in-law Jarod Kushner, a flaming Zionist, he has been doubling down on his fanatical devotion to Israel, his opposition to domestic Jew haters, as he calls them, and his belligerence towards Iran. His friendship with Jews, his fervent support of Israel, his warm speeches to Jewish groups, and sympathy for all the terrible things they supposedly went through – all this and more is so well-documented that even many normies know about it. Neo-con con man Mark Levin once introduced Trump as “the first Jewish president” which made Donald smile. Trump once even implied that anti-Semitism should be punishable by death…

I agree, except it’s not lies and exaggeration. It’s mostly “facts” mined from the four books John read “by” or about Trump. Like he wrote,  All this and more is so well-documented that even many normies know about it. He gives sources for everything he wrote.

Ha! I liked John’s description of Trump after reading about one of his most outlandish claims: [H]e’s a world-class BS artist. Show me someone who has the time to make a hundred phone calls and attend a dozen meetings in one day and I’ll show you a gorilla that speaks Chinese.

When I used to do hiring, it would usually come down to two final candidates. I wished I could combine them to get a really great choice, but I had to choose one. Now our situation is not a really great choice, not at all, but in the end, you have to choose one. How often does our politics give us really stark choices?

I know of no study which shows that sitting out an election has any effect on  either the parties or the process. I understand the impulse but I don’t respect the inaction. It just seems, in the end, like a childish tantrum.

So, “Vance-Trump” (interesting inversion) it is.

A Biden-Harris administration would accelerate the already alarming trends toward totalitarianism. There will be more private censorship and deplatforming. There will be more state incursions on our first and second amendment rights. It will be increasingly difficult for white advocates to say or do anything to turn these trends around.

I’m sure there is/was more going on behind the scenes than what I know about, but I distinctly recall deplatforming, private censorship, and general persecution of white advocates/dissident rightists getting worse under Trump, not better.  Before Trump was elected in 2016, the “alt-right” as it was then called, sort of had free reign all over the the internet.  The real crackdown didn’t occur until during Trump’s first administration.  I guess an argument could be made that that was more opportunism on the left due to Charlottesville but still, I don’t remember Trump doing anything about it, or even saying anything beyond the “good people on both sides” quote that the leftist diddled themselves to for years afterward.

If anything, things seemed to lighten up online during the Biden years.  I’m not saying this is necessarily a reason to sit out the election (I actually do plan on voting for him, because I think you are mostly correct in your analysis), but I’m just wondering how “not quite as bad” things will be for hard rightists with another Trump presidency.

Of course it got worse under Trump. But it wasn’t Trump who was doing it. It was the Left coming after Trump supporters, primarily through the use of private corporations. Trump was lazy and clueless about dealing with it. But he wasn’t the driving force behind it.

Once Trump was out of office, the Left calmed down. What does that tell us? It tells us they weren’t as afraid. The question I have is: Can we expect to make any progress without making our enemies afraid?

The Biden administration was very active in promoting GOVERNMENT censorship. They were very active in censoring information they didn’t like about COVID. Remember their misfired plans to have a ministry of truth? A Harris administration would be pushing GOVERNMENT censorship. Trump wouldn’t.

    We need a Pussy-Grabber.

Actually, given that on [S[Election Day I shall be undergoing the retrial of Reo v. Lindstedt 2019-cv-2103 in which I am being sued for defaming Bryan Reo,his wife and father for telling everyone that Bryan Reo is a homosexual jewlatto agent-provocateur in Cleveland Ohio, I already voted absentee for a third time for the ZOG-Emperor Pussy-Grabber just like over 80% of Newton County Missouri. I also voted for me as LibberToon nominee for Eastern District Newton County Commissioner. Yes, I farted.

    Four years ago I made a video: I need a Pussy-Grabber.

    I need a Pussy-Grabber!

I’m holding on to a Trump to the end of the ZOG!

    He’s gotta be mean,

    And he’s gotta be strong,

He oughtta tell Senile Joe and the Ho so long!

    I need a Pussy-Grabber!!!

    https://odysee.com/@PastorLindstedt:f/Pussy-Grabber_7Nov20:a

I also need to make another parody song: I voted three times for a pussy-grabber, but all I got was a pussy!

Now Hamberger Today made a substack entry today:

    https://hamburgertoday.substack.com/p/why-i-didnt-vote-for-trumpvance

Bi-Polar Bradifer Griffin has snapped out of being all Cunthair Walrus ZOGbot and has gotten back on the Trump Train.  AllA-Bored!!!

Thanks to Jim Choad who has asked, “Whigger Nutsionalism!!! What is it good for?” I realize the usefoolness of voating for the ZOG-Emperor and even Melania no longer wants her pu$$y grabbed for either love (long gone) or money (going, going). Whigger Nutsionalism was created by David “the Duck of Deaf” Duke in the mid 1990s after the Duck left to save hisself from the Klan who were all pissed off at the Duck selling theys names and addresses to the FBI then to Boob Fowler running as a Republicunt for governor in Louisiana. The Duck was jailed for incone tax evasion, stealing from tards and the rest of the Whigger Nutsionalists signed onto the New Orleans protocol to where we wouldn’t shit onto or fuck the Duck. The Duck sold his Klan to Thom Robb and his Internuts interests to Milton Munster Black who took that and Mrs. Duck off the Duck’s hands. Then with the rise of the Internuts, the Klan would hold meetings in Howard Johnsons and Ramada Inns and make the Duck stay in his room and feed him McDonald’s takeout until 15 minutes the Duck was supposed to quack, then sign autographsand sell books and t-shirts for another half hour in order to keep theys wives, girlfriends, sisters, daughters, and sundry pussy from being fucked by the Duck.

Tom Metzger didn’t much like the Duck. And now the Duck is outta fucks, so “white nationalism” as a money-maker is well past its pull date. White Supremacy as the white-hooded grandpa of “White Nationalism” is doing fine although most of the old Klansmen with theys’ off-hand love of violence are as dead as the local deputy sheriffs who used to enforce segregation and deter mudsharkery.

I think that the best possible outcum in the [s]election is a slight Trump win which for the second time is deemed stolen by the ZOG deep state leading up to a hot civil war. Then the Russians and chinks will get involved in this civil war and a successful Revolution will take place as ZOG runs out of obsolete military hardware and in the entire ZOGland things devolve to local counties and warlords. Western Europe and the Deep State ZOGlings will try ro hold things together but will be stymied by local warlordseach seeking theys’own benefit. Things will revert to how they were after the Egyptian Old Kingdom declined in the First Interregnum Period or the Dark Ages after the Western Roman Empire fell in 476 AD. Having an excuse for civil war because the ZOG-Emperor was cheated and fighting against the cheats will be the best possible event.

    Hail Victory!!!

Pastor Martin – your prediction for the post-election period (Age) are not outside the realm of possibility.  The Days of Endless Comforts, Conveniences & Predictability are coming to an end one way or another.  Maybe the best we can hope for is a strongman of some sort.

Unless you were just joking, of course.   With you, I can never tell, since I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer in these parts.   A most entertaining comment from beginning to end.
