Greg, I believe YouTube videos of you making arguments to public audiences has served you and the movement well. I particularly enjoyed the one on fukuyama as well as the one against right wing violence. It showed class, taste and authority.

The discussion about the current blood libel against Canadian Whites (which has been going on for years) reminds me of Aristotle’s distinction between dialectic and rhetoric.
Dialectic is marshaling facts and reason to make an argument. Rhetoric is using whatever methods of persuasion you can, usually relying on commonplace assumptions and emotion, to win an argument without making an argument. At this, the antiWhites are masters. Or mistresses. Or mstrx.
In engaging with White conservatives, I despair of how often, despite mountain ranges of evidence, they continue to think that facts and reason will have any effect on a populace that A. is largely incapable of thinking, in the proper sense and B. has been brainwashed for well over 70 years, from every conceivable organ of culture, into accepting a host of anti-White commonplaces.
Even men like Charles Murray cannot be convinced, even by their own research. We are fighting a cult and rhetoric has to be our weapon of choice.
I take advantage of the celebration of July 4 to recall the contribution of the French to the independence of the United States of America. If you ever visit the Palace of Versailles (Gallery of Battles), your eyes may linger on Auguste Couder’s painting. This work, which is an oil on canvas painted in 1836, is entitled The Siege of Yorktown (in French: La prise de Yorktown). We can identify Jean-Baptiste Donatien de Vimeur, comte de Rochambeau , commander-in-chief of the French expeditionary force, represented alongside Georges Washington. As in Yorktown, Americans and French, let’s fight together again!

RE the perennial issue of malaise on the Dissident Right:
What do we get from a lot of Dissident Right websites?
Well, mainly doom & gloom. Pearl clutching over the latest anti-White atrocity. Complaints about Regime double standards. “Clever” zingers and “owning the lefties” burning up the bandwith. Cue funeral dirge for the Decline of the West!
One reason I stick with Counter-Currents is that there is an atmosphere of quiet confidence here in the final victory. The C-C interview with Jason Kessler was quite good because: (a) it showed there are people fighting back; and (b) gave people something useful to do (like where to send money).
How about some more positivity?
– Like where to send money. Like a listing of pro-Dissident Right activist groups and legal defense funds.
– Active support for the anti-critical race indoctrination movement. Articles on protest tactics would be useful. And leafleting. And banner drops. And alternative schooling. And how to talk back at critical race struggle sessions.
– Support for the 6 January 2021 Capitol Occupiers: declare 6 January Annual Patriots’ Day for peaceful protest.
– Boycott the mainstream media campaign: why you the reader should cancel your cable telescreen subscription and send the money to Dissident Right media.
– Reporting on Dissident Right activism. Patriot Front has conducted some marches in the street recently. Articles/interviews on these people, and if there is room for coordinating with the wider Dissident Right.
– Updates and interviews with national-populists worldwide: Yellow Vests, Patriotic Alternative, Generation Identity, Nordic Resistance, Boer defense, and et alia. Make the struggle against globalism, well, global.
Point is to make Dissident Right websites the “go-to” places for activists within the movement and on the wider front of populists and patriots. Get people to do something positive and the malaise will dissipate.
Wow, hood and Chris roberts have been doing some great podcasts for amren with red blue and white series. They are some erudite cats.
As a spare-time short story writer of speculative fiction, I have written many (low quality) ideas and scenarios for a future rightist uprising in America, and a constant thread in them has been the changing of the American name and flag by a new rightist regime, because I once believed that the American left had so thoroughly adopted the notion of “Americanism” as being a universalist idea that any meaningful pushback against it from the right would involve the re-christening of the culture and identity, usually to something like Columbia. Today however, it looks like the left is washing its hands of “America” and everything it represents, from its symbols, its name and its people. This is incredibly stupid on their part, but it’s also a good sign. This means that the pushback from the right against the left can continue to call on old symbols and a feeling of legitimacy as being the “actual true Americans” which will inevitably be a great recipe for triumph. They want to surrender the American symbols, philosophies and institutions to their enemies, I say don’t look a gift horse in the mouth, and take that deal.

This podcast with Greg Hood was excellent and timely. Mr. Hood had some key things to say that were very well articulated in a matter-of-fact manner and in a non threatening way, which could be very helpful for people who have not yet crossed over to white identitarianism but feel it in their gut. I was one of those people a couple of years ago. This podcast would have sealed it for me back then. I have shared the link to this podcast with others.
I’d question your Cheddar Man denialism. Obviously, the media likes to show the image reconstructed image and imply that England was originally African. That implication is wrong, but that doesn’t mean the underlying facts are made up. So-called Cheddar Man was not African, but was one of our ancestors from the Western Hunter Gatherer people who inhabited Europe before any farmers. Cheddar Man looked a bit different than we do in some ways because he’s from thousands of years ago and we have evolved a bit since (plus his people mixed with our other ancestors from the east and southeast). Europeans are the only modern group descended from Cheddar Man’s people, so we are their heirs.
About his dark skin, which is used to imply that Cheddar Man was African or at least non-European, my understanding is that the Western Hunter Gatherer pigmentation genes are not quite the same as any living population’s, so it’s hard to tell what their exact skin tone was. When their genome was first studied in the early 2010s, I believe researchers initially thought that they would have had very dark pigmentation, like Africans or Australian Aborigines. Subsequently, I think the consensus developed that we don’t really know what their skin tone was like, it could be anywhere from dark like an Italian to dark like a Nigerian. In any event, it makes sense that lighter skin would evolve in Europe after the introduction of agriculture because, while hunter gatherers got plenty of vitamin D from their diet, farmers needed to maximize vitamin D from the sun.
Gregory Hood’s closing remarks (starting at 53:15) re: malaise in the movement were inspiring. Online discussion is an essential building block . But the IRL communities germinating throughout the country is the next necessary stage of the movement’s evolution. And it’s happening now.
That’s a primary reason I wouldn’t criticize Patriot Front too harshly. We only see a small slice of what they do: their staged events. Behind the scenes they are ostensibly building networks and communities that are far more valuable than all the banner drops and street marches combined.
