Building the Electronic Ethnostate

Greg Johnson

901 words

Please mirror this post.

Update: We have a stay of execution until the beginning of next week. Let’s hope the promise is honored.

Enjoy this site while you can, because when you wake up tomorrow, Counter-Currents will probably be gone. Don’t worry, though, we will be back in a few days. Our webhosting service, under pressure from the anti-white establishment and its Jewish-Leftist vanguard is canceling our account, citing their politically correct “terms of service.”

If you were planning to make a donation, now would be a good time. Because chances are, we will be offline for a while.

Note: Credit Card numbers are not stored on our server, and all connections are secure and encrypted.

This is part of a coordinated attack on white advocates, exploiting the moral panic ginned up by the Unite the Right rally. In the past few days alone:

  • Counter-Currents has been booted by PayPal and our Facebook page has been deleted.
  • Both Red Ice servers were hacked, as were the site owners’ Twitter accounts, and still have not recovered.
  • VDare, AltRight.com, and AmRen were bounced from PayPal.
  • VDare’s conference next April has been shut down by the venue.
  • TRS was taken down by their webhosting company, but got a new host and were back online in 3 hours.
  • Mike Enoch was banned for the fourth time from Twitter.
  • KickStarter, GoFundMe, and IndieGoGo have all vowed to shut down campaigns related to White Nationalist concerns.
  • Pax Dickinson’s Twitter has been shut down.
  • Hatreon is offline.
  • PolNewsForever’s Twitter has been shut down.
  • The Daily Stormer has been targeted with massive DDOS attacks.
  • The Daily Stormer domain registration was dropped by GoDaddy, transferred to Google, and then seized by Google.
  • The Daily Stormer discord server has been shut down.
  • The Altright.com discord server has been shut down.
  • Vanguard America’s WordPress and Facebook accounts have been shut down.
  • Spotify has removed 27 “hate” bands as defined by the SPLC.
  • GoFundMe has taken down campaigns to help James Fields.
  • RootBocks has been taken down by its hosting company, but is back online.
  • Xurious has been removed from Bandcamp and Soundcloud.
  • Daniel Friberg and Christopher Dulny, both Swedes, have been barred from entering the United States because of their presence at Unite the Right.
  • Lauren Southern’s Patreon account has been taken down.
  • Lauren Southern’s Instagram has been taken down, but is now back up.
  • NPI’s PayPal account has been shut down.
  • Two upcoming speeches by Richard Spencer have been canceled.

  • Christopher Cantwell’s Facebook, PayPal, and website are gone.
  • Weev’s LinkedIn account has been shut down.
  • The Paranormies and other podcasts have been kicked off of Soundcloud.
  • YouTube had demonitized controversial videos, making it impossible for dissident video bloggers to make a living from their work.
  • Airbnb combed through the social media of people with Charlottesville-area registrations on Unite the Right weekend, and canceled the reservations and accounts of Unite the Right attendees
  • Uber has cancelled Baked Alaska’s and James Allsup’s accounts.
  • Squarespace is dropping multiple Right-wing sites.
  • A Toronto free speech event with Faith Goldy, Jordan Peterson, and Gad Saad has been cancelled.

When Hitler purged the SA, it was called the “Night of the Long Knives.” When Jews and SJWs have a purge, what do we call it? The Night of the Rainbow Dildoes?

This is a wake-up call to our movement.

Although we all have first to put out the fires that are currently raging, we also really need to think much further ahead.

First, we need to build our own electronic ethnostate. Counter-Currents has an IT professional with decades of experience on our team. His goal is to build our own system, from top to bottom, from domain registry to servers, web hosting, and email service. He is looking for people with expertise, equipment, existing institutions, and money to work with him. If you want to take part in this project, please contact me at [email protected].

Second, the electronic ethnostate is only a temporary solution. After it is established, we need to rollback the Left’s control of the Internet. We must press for federal legislation to:

  • Regulate Google, Airbnb, Uber, Amazon.com, Twitter, YouTube, and other such platforms as public utilities, requiring them to scrap all politically correct terms of service and respect the First Amendment to the US Constitution.
  • Ban all politically correct terms of service and employment and force corporations to respect freedom of speech and thought.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we had some sort of non-profit, 501(c)(3) Policy Institute with the expertise and credibility to make a case for such legislation and perhaps even help craft it? That too must come to pass.

Again, enjoy us while we are here. Donate while we are here. And I promise, we will be back, better and stronger than ever.

Greg Johnson

Right now I’m in the process of downloading your entire site– I often refer to old essays and also use the search function for names I come across in my reading, so I’d like to have it available. Hopefully, however, CC will be back very soon.

I’ve signed up to your mailing list a few times over the years, but I’ve never received an email. I don’t know if that’s because you haven’t sent any or if there’s a problem on either end. I thought I’d mention it as you may need to utilize the list soon and others could have the same problem.

Consider making your download available per torrent. That´s in a way: distributed storage for system-nonfragility. That´s also aspired by some “coins”, distributed file storage. Hopefully, these new technical developments will succeed in breaking those free-speech suppressing tyrants their necks (as self-determination and freedom from tyranny is the whole point of the crypto-blockchain technology).

I used a program called WinHTTrack. Expect it to take up around 4GB, and a lot of time. I’ll see what I can do about making it available as a torrent soon.

        http://www.httrack.com/

HTTRACK works like a champ for copying the contents of an entire site. This tool can even grab the pieces needed to make a website with active code content work offline.

This program will do all you require of it.

        Happy hunting!

I really think we can make headway by championing these efforts. These are causes that normies can get behind without committing to any identitarian agenda. However?? this agenda is so ultimately pro white that we could essentially drop everything and focus completely on these issues for now.

      Just expand Civil Rights law.

Just as private companies cannot discriminate against someone because of their race, sex or sexual orientation they would not be allowed to discriminate against someone because of their political views.

If Christian bakers have to bake cakes for gay weddings then internet providers and credit card companies have to offer services to law abiding White Nationalists.

      2. Jez Turner says:
        August 18, 2017 at 2:26 am

Daniel is right. Expanding civil rights law to include all political opinions would be the best safeguard, would garner a wide range of support and offers the best chance of success. Here in England, Arthur Redfearn, (sacked by his employer for being an elected local councilor for the British National Party), eventually won his legal case at the highest of courts and now, in theory, no one in the European Union can be sacked from their job or discriminated against for, not only their race, religion, gender and sexual orientation, but also their political opinion. Extending this to demand that shops, private golf clubs, universities, companies and services do not discriminate due to political opinion either should be easy – after all shops cannot refuse to serve anyone due to their race, religion, gender or sexual orientation so why not political opinion? No doubt the liberals and marxists will reply that in the same way free speech has to have exceptions, (ie anything they don’t like can be s designated ‘hate speech’ and excluded), access to services also has to have exceptions, (again, anything they don’t like). However, as it is only white people that are excluded and discriminated against when these exceptions apply, then even this itself could be defined as case of ‘institutional racism’ against white people. What the current clampdown had done is to reveal to all those who can still think, the complete and utter glaring hypocrisy of liberalism and its Deep State. Exemplia gratia -it is being demanded by ‘the powers that be’ that students who attended the Charlottesville demonstrations be expelled from their universities – but not if they attended the counter demonstrations. Such double standards have been going on for decades, but most people never realised. This sort of thing is now out in the open in a big way and should make a lot of people wake up. Either students are allowed to go on political demonstrations and marches or they are not, period. The mass media excusing leftist violence, on the spurious assumption that ‘the bussed-in leftist Soros rent a mob’ is ‘local’ is beyond ridiculous. When the case of the car incident comes to court, the truth about the car being surrounded and trashed and the driver inside panicking and trying to drive out of trouble, will be out in the open, but we cannot count on it, even with a sensible President in The White House, nor can we count on the driver being found not guilty, and even if he is it meaning that the internet service providers et al will apologize and re-instate their services to patriots. Until our rights are protected we will have to make shift for ourselves as best we can and in doing so inthe long term this will make us more independent and stronger. All in all, this current phase our great movement for racial survival is going through, is one of nature’s tests. Let us rise to the occasion and in the future look back on this period with a grateful and kindly smile from the sunny headlands of ultimate victory.

      3. Tom Rogers says:
        August 18, 2017 at 5:45 am

This arguably IS racial discrimination, as it indirectly affects white Europeans qua white Europeans.

The lines of demarcation have been clarified for even the ignorant to see, and as historically apt the anarchists and communists are aligned with big capital.

    1. Proofreader says:
      August 18, 2017 at 5:19 am

Are antifas really anarchists or communists? I’m inclined to doubt it. Although antifas claim that “fascists” are somehow agents of the state or capital, for some reason they always regard the “fascists” as their primary enemy. Indeed, one could argue that antifas are actually feral liberals rather than anarchists or communists. Their political project, insofar as they have one, is the enforcement of SJW ideology through thuggery, rather than the creation of a stateless or classless society.

Defined in terms of Marxist-Leninist ideology, politics, and economics, Bolshevism is dead. Defined in terms of a revolt against civilization, Bolshevism is very much alive. The human material of Bolshevism, so to speak, sets its tone far more than its ideology. As Lenin is said to have remarked, “Among one hundred so-called Bolsheviks, there is one real Bolshevik, with thirty-nine criminals and sixty fools.”

Weird. After the Boston bombing, no one wanted to shut down Islamic websites or places of congregation. After what happened in Barcelona yesterday, after hundreds of similar attacks, and a little thing called 9/11, there was no effort for shutting down Islamic points of communication!

And so one possible white nationalist possibly killed one person in charlotte, and we need a massive, coordinated sting against the entire “alt right.” Just weird.

Most of humanity seems to me locked in some sort of alternate reality religious mania. Is it I or they who are crazy? I get it, they are not on our side. Who is “on our side?”

    1. BroncoColorado says:
      August 18, 2017 at 3:32 pm

“Who is on our side?” No one. The whole burden of saving the White race is on our shoulders, we didn’t ask for it, but it is down to us, just us, no one else.
It makes me sick to see all these politicos, corporate bosses, and reverends rushing forward to demonstrate how they hate White people, their ‘own’ people, people whose votes, labor, and donations put them in the positions of power they occupy. These damn race traitors would rather kiss the Islamic ass than help their own kin.

If Google etc were to be ordered to respect the first amendment they would move elsewhere, such as the EU, Canada, UK (if it by the grace of God leaves the EU), Norway etc, their servers are moving up there. Those companies are run by people with an agenda and they won’t give up that agenda.

Our music sales account with CD Baby (a service that was paid for) was just terminated, due to “promoting violence against other races.” Funny, over the last eight years on there they had no issue as they leeched their exorbitant fees from our CD sales. I don’t suspect they will be relinquishing the “dirty racist lucre” they made from it. I sent off a polite but cutting e-mail to the female drone who informed me, telling her that this wasn’t about any other issue than stifling the free speech of Whites and that I assumed all those Black anti-White rap albums would still be available on their site.

Not that it matters too much on my end, not like I was getting rich on this, it was more of just spreading the word and possibly recouping a bit of the large cost of the cd run. The compact disc is deader than Lenin anyhow, they will soon be belly up like the print media.

All they have done in the end is make me more determined and contemplate composing/writing more music with a pro-White message. They can censor the truth all they want, but it will prevail. Just like our folk. Keep the faith CC brethren, they are running scared!

Funny just the other day I was rereading Solzhenitsyn’s Harvard Address and his remark about the decline of civic courage in the West (although I think he mostly meant America) struck me. I’m sure some of these companies are run by SJW lunatics (or, more likely, are really run by cynical neoliberal psychopaths) but many more are just run by cowardly and timid nu-male types frightened by any social media screeching that’s directed their way. Oh and donation made, too.

Because the overwhelming bulk of the specific type of white men and women you have in mind do not gravitate towards the kind of work or “careers” that are power orientated. They are not into IT, engineering, etc. All this is considered nerdy and such by them. Starting a concrete pouring company is more in line with their mentality than is a tech start up. Nor do they read anything of substance. They are simply “not into it.”

The above is the most concise and to the point answer to your questions.

Skinning bucks and running trot lines are totally useless skills when it comes to needing network servers and media resources.

Here are some programs you can use to download the whole website

Getleft has a new, modern feel to its interface. Upon launch, press “Ctrl + U” to quickly get started by entering an URL and save directory. Before the download begins, you’ll be asked which files should be downloaded.

HTTrack is an extremely popular program for downloading websites. Although the interface isn’t quite modern, it functions very well for its intended purpose. The wizard is easy to use and will follow you through settings that define where the website should be saved and some specifics like what files should be avoided in the download.

    some more

PageNest reminds me a bit of both HTTrack and Getleft combined. Enter the address of the website to download in the “Address” tab from the main page upon program launch. You’ll be asked for the essentials like the name of the site and where it should be saved.
