A Message to New Readers

Greg Johnson

Salvador Dalí Christmas card

373 words

The readership of Counter-Currents is growing at a tremendous pace. Last month, we had just under 150,000 unique visitors. When this month ends, we will be well beyond that milestone. That is remarkable growth, particularly considering the fact that Counter-Currents is aimed at readers with IQs above 120.

I want to welcome our new readers. First of all, I would like to get to know you. So if you discovered Counter-Currents in November or December, please drop me a line at [email protected], and tell me how you discovered us. Second, please donate to Counter-Currents. Like most publishers of genuinely dissenting ideas, we depend on the generosity of our readers to stay afloat.

If you want to send a non-tax deductible donation to Counter-Currents Publishing, you can make two different types of donations:

  • A single donation of any size.
  • A recurring donation of any size.

Recurring donations are particularly helpful, since they allow us better to predict and plan for the future. We have several levels for recurring donations. Please visit our Donations page for more information.

We can also customize the amount of a monthly donation.

There are several ways to make one-time donations:

  • The easiest is with PayPal. Please click here.
  • You can send check, money order, or credit card payment by mail. Just print out our donation form in Word or PDF.
  • You can make a secure credit card donation direct from our Donation page.

Salvador Dalí Christmas card

Also, as we first announced in October of 2015, you now have two possible destinations for your donations: Counter-Currents Publishing and the Counter-Currents Foundation. The Counter-Currents Foundation is a US 501c3 educational corporation. Donations to it are deductible from US federal income taxes. The purpose of the Counter-Currents Foundation is specifically to promote scholarship and translations connected to the European New Right and allied movements. If you wish to earmark a donation to the Counter-Currents Foundation, or to discuss a particular project you would like to support, please contact me in advance at [email protected]. Please give generously!

Remember: those who fight for the Golden Age live in it today. Thank you for your loyalty and support, and Merry Christmas!

Thank you for your great work this year Greg. I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I hear the dog whistling! Counter currents has provided me with so much culture, so much spiritual sustenance, and so much information across the years that I can’t help giving. What ever happened to Andrew Hamilton and Matt parrot? They are sorely missed.

Fantastic content at Counter Currents and always interesting. I heard Greg on the recent Fash Britannia podcast and he was as interesting and incisive as ever. Greg mentioned the problem some people have reported viewing the web site using Internet Explorer. I can confirm that there is a fairly large problem and it may put some people off, which would be a shame. I am highly IT literate and usually use Firefox 50.1.0 running on Linux (Ubuntu) to view the web site. This works without any problems. If I use IE11 on Windows7 (64bit) then the web site crashes the browser (which is fully patched and up to date). It’s necessary to force IE11 to close and then re-open it. IE11 is the latest version. I can’t see why this is happening. In one sense it doesn’t matter and I’m being pedantic. It would be nice from a technical point of view to sort it out though.

Just learned about you from listening to a Right on Radio podcast.

Thank you, Greg. I’m a Mensan, so I trust my IQ qualifies. 😉 Voted Bernie in the Primary and Don Donaldo in the General…I’m far from alone in that.

You’ve probably answered this question elsewhere, but how would you distinguish the *North American New Right* from the *Alt-Right*?

    Thanks,
    -Bob in L.A.

The Alt Right is a vague umbrella term encompassing many alternatives to mainstream conservatism, including White Nationalism. I think of myself as a White Nationalist, and since my focus is on metapolitics I formed a movement called the North American New Right to promote the metapolitical conditions for the creation of a white republic.

“Counter-Currents is aimed at readers with IQs above 120”

    Just as a side remark.

I am not a new reader (found your website through a European website, which was hastily deleted after a government persecution action against similar websites this year, whose webmasters today are incarcerated).

This Christmas again while mingling with highly qualified acquaintances (one presumes a high IQ) I again noticed that a superior IQ is not enough. It must also be accompanied by a certain personality type, one that is geared toward digging deeper into the background of political events. Many of those with a superior IQ are just not interested in such matters. They remain subject specialists in their careers, who seldom venture beyond their area of expertise for the rest of their lives. When they are older, their preconceived notions are pretty well established, and they do not bring up the energy to move outside their comfort zone. One can forget to try to expand their horizons unto other things, it will just take up too much energy. They will eventually follow the masses when they implement change.

Dalí, a staunch spanish patriot literally until his deathbed. Passionately francoist. Too genial to be dismissed by the wardens of the Culture, though.
