Of all the nations that make up Western Civilization, Spain was the first that faced and overcame the challenges that eventually troubled all the others. In the 1400s, Spain threw off the Jewish yoke and freed its government and society. A century later, they also expelled the Muslim settler-colonists. Then, in the 1930s, the Spanish defeated a Soviet-led effort to carry out a Communist revolution in their country. (more…)
