In the immediate wake of 2013’s Boston Marathon bombing, writer David Sirota — a skinny dork with delusions of being a tough guy — wrote an article for Salon.com called “I Hope the Bomber is a White American.”
I hope that Sirota was disappointed to the point of lifelong fecal incontinence that the bombers turned out to be a pair of foreign-born Chechen Muslim brothers with an axe to grind against all things white and American. (more…)

If there’s anything to be learned from the shooting sprees at three Atlanta-area massage parlors on Tuesday afternoon that left eight people dead, it’s that the massage-parlor industry is disproportionately Asian to a degree that would be comical if, you know, it hadn’t led to this unacceptable tragedy.

Okay, I’m not really a survivor of a mass shooting, but I was in an “active shooter” training event where the “shooter,” an off-duty law enforcement professional flanked by orange vest-wearing event coordinators, got in to my Big American Corporate Cubicle Farm and fired off a bunch of blanks while shouting F-Bombs. In the aftermath of the Christchurch shooting on March 15, Australian Senator Fraser Anning was widely criticized by the media for saying that “the real cause of bloodshed on New Zealand streets today is the immigration program which allowed Muslim fanatics to migrate to New Zealand in the first place.” He was right: there are virtually no examples in human history of peoples passively acquiescing to foreign invasion and demographic replacement. This is a statement of fact. Throughout history, peoples in such situations have almost always reacted violently to the encroachment of foreigners upon their territory. (more…)

The activism of the curiously well-covered David Hogg, a student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, has resulted in exactly what he wanted: the school is taking action, and will be requiring all students to carry clear backpacks come spring.
Hogg, however, didn’t realize that this was what he’d been asking for. Now he and his fellow students are complaining that the backpacks will violate their right to privacy. (more…)
