Part 2 of 3 (Introduction Part I here, Introduction Part III here)
Translated by F. Roger Devlin
Now, for liberalism, man — far from being constituted as such by his bonds with others — must be thought of as an individual unbound by any constitutive form of belonging; i.e., outside any cultural or socio-historical context. (more…)

The French-language news portal Breizh-Info has published a long interview in French with Hungarian Member of Parliament László Toroczkai, who is the leader of the opposition nationalist parliamentary group Mi Hazánk Mozgalom. The following is an English translation.
László Toroczkai has been a leading figure in Hungarian nationalism for 25 years. His biography has few equals in this political milieu. He began as a young parliamentary assistant working with the Hungarian Justice and Life Party, or MIÉP, in the late 1990s, which was a nationalist party that had parliamentary representation between 1998 and 2002. Inspirace taktikou protivníka:
Identitáři v Budapešti rozdávali potraviny potřebnýmEnglish original here
(more…)

Part 7 of 7 (Part 1 here, Part 6 here)
We have no standards to judge what are “good” and “bad” forms of being a human, since there are no subjects existing outside the contingencies of historical time and power relationships. All we can do is engage in “discourse analysis” so as to uncover existing hierarchies by analyzing the fields of knowledge through which they are legitimated. We can engage in questioning how we came to be the “humans” we think we are, such as how we came to think that we have natural rights to life, liberty, and happiness, but such a questioning can only show us how our current way of being human is historically contingent and thus changeable. The following is the text of Gregory Hood’s opening statement in the “Ethnonationalism vs. Imperialism” debate with Greg Johnson that was held at the recent Counter-Currents Spring Retreat. Dr. Johnson’s opening statement, which preceded this one, can be read here.
It’s not a question of whether you want to live in an imperium or not. You’re going to live under an imperial rule of some kind. The only question is whose it’s going to be. (more…)

The following is being published in commemoration of Enoch Powell’s 111th birthday today.
Like the Roman, I seem to see “the Tiber foaming with much blood.” — from a speech by Enoch Powell
Enoch was the best parliamentarian I ever knew. — Margaret Thatcher
Enoch Powell was arguably the greatest Prime Minister Great Britain never had. He looms large in the national consciousness largely because of a speech he gave in 1968 at a hotel in his home town of Birmingham to an audience of Conservative Party members. There were no crowds outside attempting to cancel or deplatform him; that would come later. (more…)

F. Roger Devlin delivered this talk in Stockholm on May 27, 2023 to mark the publication of the Swedish translation of Sexual Utopia in Power (Den sexuella utopin vid makten) by Logik Förlag.
If you have any familiarity with my work, you know I publish mainly in the dissident Right press in the United States. Sexual issues do not typically occupy a lot of attention in this milieu. Sometimes I have even encountered confusion as to the relevance of my writings on sex to the political tasks of the nationalist, or identitarian, movement. The proper response, of course, is that any nation or race must reproduce itself sexually. (more…)

The recent tilt towards authoritarianism across Europe and the Commonwealth, aided and abetted by the Covid-19 pandemic which, even if not intentionally manufactured was certainly deliberately manipulated, has a curious aspect. It seems to the casual eye that certain countries have been selected to test-run various globalist designs.
The Antipodean nations, Australia and New Zealand, got to try out statist control with lockdown policies more restrictive than just about anywhere bar China. (more…)

The recent coronation of Charles III was a bit of a relief for me: He finally made it! The old girl’s gone at last. That being said, it appears that much of the old girl’s Britain is gone as well. It seemed that every ethnicity in Britain was given a place at the coronation, and we were serenaded not by the glowing choruses of Purcell, Handel, or Elgar, but by a black gospel group in tacky white clothes. Nida Manzoor’s first feature is therefore a timely delight. (more…)
