We, a select group of human beings . . . — John Kerry speaking at Davos
In this life, one thing counts.
In the bank, large amounts.
I’m afraid these don’t grow on trees,
You’ve got to pick a pocket or two.
— Fagin, Oliver! (more…)

American culture is still spinning wildly from the assassination of US President John Fitzgerald Kennedy in Dallas on November 22, 1963 by a self-radicalized antifa gunman acting alone. American liberals and Leftist sympathizers in particular have had a tough time dealing with the murder. Kennedy’s widow later remarked that “[JFK] didn’t even have the satisfaction of being killed for civil rights. It had to be some silly little Communist.”
Jacqueline Kennedy’s remarks perfectly sum up the snobbery and inability to read data that is essential to the mentality of JFK’s political base. Jacqueline Kennedy could have rightly pointed out that Kennedy died fighting Communism in the same way he’d valiantly lived fighting Communism. (more…)

And who will guard the guardians? — Juvenal
During my long life, I cannot recall approaching the New Year with a greater sense of apprehension and angst. Looking back over the last several years, 2020 was a tipping point of chaos: COVID lockdowns, George Floyd riots and deification, an Alzheimer’s POTUS, adolescent mutilation as a “civil right,” Ukraine.
What next? Yeats? (more…)

Countless multitudes recently undertook an annual ritual: making New Year’s resolutions. Surely one of the most popular is to begin an exercise program. For regular gym rats, we observe that the January crowding starts to taper off by February. Perennially, it’s clear evidence that there’s a problem in following through. However, you can take extra assurance by a recent Time article, which tells us that getting fit isn’t just the right thing to do, it’s the white thing to do. Thanks, mainstream media! (more…)

Nixon’s White House Wars: The Battles that Made and Broke a President and Divided America Forever
New York: Crown Forum, 2017
It’s déjà vu all over again, folks. The more things change, the more they stay the same. This is one of the takeaways from this fascinating political memoir by Pat Buchanan, who worked in the Nixon White House as a strategist and speechwriter after serving Candidate Nixon on the campaign trail. I admit it: I did it again. I opened the default Microsoft Edge start page. Lately I can expect to see the same thing from whoever sets up the feed. Multiple articles will feature pearl-clutching hysteria about race. (more…)
Counter-Currents is aiming to raise $300,000 by the end of this year. Thanks to those of you who have kindly answered the call, we currently stand at $202,881.51, which is 68% of the way to our target. For the rest of you, please bear in mind what Greg Johnson tells us in his special Black Friday article, “It’s Time to STOP Shopping for Christmas,” namely that there are other ways of expressing generosity towards your loved ones than by giving your hard-earned cash to evil corporations who want to banish white people and our legacy from the world once and for all. Lots of books about English skinheads and the band Skrewdriver have been published in English. Personally, I consider the best book on this topic to be Nazi Rock Star by Paul London, aka Paul Burnley, ex-singer of the band No Remorse. This book offers the most comprehensive look at Skrewdriver and goes into Ian Stuart’s childhood, explaining his ideology and motivations. (more…)
Republican senatorial candidate Herschel Walker is so stupid, it’s fair to call him a genius at being stupid. The existence of Herschel Walker as a legitimate senatorial candidate is a testament to the absolute state of American democracy. It’s also evidence that Donald Trump selected some Grade-A morons to back this time around. Their only requirement to get Trump’s backing seems to consist of speaking well of Donald Trump, even if they are incapable of speaking well in any context. (more…)

As I write this, the final results of the 2022 midterm election remain in doubt, but it appears that the Republicans will win a bare majority in the House and gain half the Senate. Georgia’s Senate race will be determined in a runoff. Regardless of whoever wins there, Georgia will not produce a very good Senator. (more…)

George Floyd most likely never met Rodney King. They are both dead. Their lives really “made a difference.” It would be good for them to meet. Comparatively speaking, that is.
The difference these particular agents of the feral underclass made was to turn race-rioting on a colossal scale into a form of “righteous” self-expression — but only for a chosen people. (more…)
Not long ago I was chatting with some people I’d just met, and TV programs came up for discussion. I had nothing to add because I don’t own a television. They were wondering why, and I said that I don’t need all that propaganda. There were understanding nods all around the table. It’s very well known that the mainstream media is a gigantic lie factory. (more…)
