What to do about Tommy Robinson has long been a moral quandary for the Dissident Right. The purist position was, “No, the guy is a narcissist conman controlled by Zionist Jews” – which no one on our side really disputes.

“Catholic migrants from Central America now have more in common with our Puritan forebears than do most Europeans.”
So argues Matthew Schmitz, a Catholic writer who supports Yoram Hazony’s “national conservatism.” He claims that a multi-racial nationalism is possible so long as it’s guided by Judeo-Christian faith. (more…)

Among the secular diaspora Jews in the West, a useful distinction can be made. There are those who will give Right-wing whites some benefit of the doubt, and there are those who won’t. The former group we can call “pragers,” and the latter we can call “foxmans.”
Let’s assume that the vast majority of both pragers and foxmans are ethnocentric: that is, they identify ethnically as Jews and exist on the Right-wing side of their own politics. This ethnocentrism manifests itself in two ways: either honestly, by being pro-Jewish or pro-Israeli, or dishonestly, by being anti-white. (more…)

Racial nationalists were banned from attending Yoram Hazony’s National Conservatism Conference, which aimed to offer a race-free nationalism (except for Jewish ethnonationalists, of course). The opening speech delivered by David Brog, the non-Christian former head of Christians United for Israel, declared racialists were unwelcome. Hazony spent weeks before the conference arguing with identitarians that nationalism has nothing to do with race. The Israeli scholar boasted that racialists would suffer a crushing defeat from the success of his conference.

Another CPAC has come and gone, and national populism was almost non-existent at this year’s conservative gala.
Even though Donald Trump became president on a national populist agenda that challenged conservative orthodoxy on immigration, foreign policy, trade, and state power, CPAC 2019 offered the impression he won on the stale conservatism of Ronald Reagan.
The major themes of CPAC 2019 were the evils of socialism (but no mention of why it’s becoming popular), the sheer awesomeness of Israel, (more…)

The Proud Boys could only have arisen in the Trump era. A multi-racial fraternity dedicated to “Western chauvinism” and brawling with the Antifa is not something the Tea Party could have produced.
There’s always been an element of the ridiculous in the Proud Boys. (more…)

A man can learn a lot while visiting Sicily. He can learn that old Rome and Byzantium still live in some corners of the Mediterranean; he can learn that the strange, winding streets of a medieval town can feel more like home than the post-communist, Eastern European shithole he calls home; (more…)
Over the past year, I have spoken with—and thought about—a particular demographic that should be open to White Nationalism, but which largely has not been: conservative Gen-Xers. They tend to reject White Nationalism as being un-American, as immoral, and most prominently, as comprised of losers and failures.
One of the unmistakable features of modern conservatives is their not-so-veiled hostility toward heritage America. Some attribute this to ethnic hostility, given the infiltration of the Right by neoconservatives. Initially, these people made the journey from communism to anti-communism and were never conservative in temperament. Of course, the royal lifestyles of many conservatives has made them into unpleasant snobs. All of that is true to one degree or another, but it obscures an important point about modern conservatives.
