Everybody and his dog is writing about the Trump conviction, so I guess I’ll add my few grains to the sand pile. Otherwise I’d kill something, preferably a New York judge. Or several of them.

On the observable principle that each succeeding President is worse than his predecessor, Biden has, barely, taken the title for godawful worthlessness and foreign-policy bafflement. But the question is not whether Trump has the morals of a politician, or whether he and some porn queen made the beast with two backs. Donald Trump sat down for an extended interview with Time magazine reporter Eric Cortellessa on April 12 to discuss what a second Trump administration would look like. Two weeks later the pair talked again over the phone, and Time published the story soon after. An example of classic Leftist spin, Cortellessa’s story, with the chilling title “How Far Trump Would Go,” is not worth even a fraction of the 26 minutes Time says it will take to read. (more…)

Tucker Carlson, the biggest star in cable news history, found out he no longer had a job at FOX News on Monday, reportedly only ten minutes before the rest of the world got the news. His show Tucker Carlson Tonight ran from 2016 to 2023 and was the highest-rated cable news show ever, at times averaging over five million viewers. (more…)

They were met with a vicious response from the police. Every day under the Brandon regime brings a new outrage or embarrassment, but last week was one of the most shocking outrages I have seen in some time. A Trump-appointed judge, Trevor McFadden, sentenced Christian Secor to three-and-a-half years in prison, followed by three years of probation. What they found is that the establishment has used the specter of fascism as a shadow to box against since 1945. Politics is the application of the friend/enemy distinction, so shadowboxing against a phantom enemy is a good way to go about domestic politics without stumbling into a civil war. (more…)
