Word has it that Roe v. Wade, the US Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion throughout America, may soon be overturned. If it is overturned, this will be the most significant victory by American conservatives in my lifetime. Sadly, it is bad for white people.

The Supreme Court (SCOTUS) will soon end Roe v. Wade, the famous 1973 case that made abortion legal throughout the United States. The new decision, revealed in an unprecedented leak from the high court this week, would not ban abortion; it would simply revoke the precedent that prevented states from banning the procedure. Sometimes a celebrated movie about young guys looking for love — well, sort of — will inaugurate an entire series. This was so for towering epics of cinema like Porky’s and American Pie. Before these, there was an earlier archetype, Lemon Popsicle. This was remade as The Last American Virgin and also inspired a few other spinoffs. What sets the original apart from these well-known gems of the silver screen is that it came from America’s greatest ally, the only true democracy in the Middle East, and the conscience of the world — which of course is our brave little friend Israel. If any modern President would be the one to start mass deportations of illegal immigrants, halt legal immigration to a trickle, build a wall, and at least try to end birthright citizenship, it would have been Donald Trump. It’s one of the major achievements of the pro-life movement and it could set up the end of Roe v. Wade.
