My father planted wisterias on the patio of our family’s home when I was nine years old. They refused to grow for a long time — in fact, their insistence on remaining low, depressing vines, drooping ever-downward to the grass, seemed like a personal insult to the handiwork of Mom and Dad. (more…)

Last week I got a scare. I got a message from one of my friends. He was afraid he had caught the coronavirus and had called 911. I called his home the next day, fearing the worst, and I was delighted to hear that it turned out to be a false alarm. But the feeling of relief was short-lived, because this past weekend, I learned that another friend — a longtime reader and supporter of Counter-Currents — has died of the coronavirus.
I’ve always believed this is a very real crisis. Even when it was only affecting the Chinese, I knew it would quickly spread to white countries. (more…)

Once again, Counter-Currents is without a credit card processor. But it’s worse than ever, folks. We have not been dropped by our credit card processor. In fact, when the usual suspects pressured them to drop their dissident clients, they stood by us. So instead, our enemies managed to put our credit card processor out of business.
This is a whole new level of tyranny.
In 2019, Counter-Currents was deplatformed from 80% of the global book market (Amazon and Barnes and Noble). (more…)

Monthly recurring donations are an enormous help to Counter-Currents because they allow us to make long term plans and commitments.
Counter-Currents built up a large number of dedicated monthly donors over our first seven years online, only to lose them when PayPal deplatformed us after Unite the Right in Charlottesville. (more…)
