It is the season of giving, and in that spirit I would like to give a Christmas present to the Christians within our ranks as a gesture of good will. Due to the Brandon economy, I do not have any partridges or pear trees, but I do have two arguments that can be used in defense of our politics by Christian Nationalists: Descartes’ cogito ergo sum and the differentiation between the private and public spheres. And what’s more, they are arguments that can operate entirely within the Christian worldview. (more…)

This year, Counter-Currents is raising $300,000. Thus far our grand total is $188,211.94. That puts us at 63% of our goal. We have also received $870 so far toward our matching grant of $3,700 for the translation of Alain de Benoist’s The Populist Moment. Thanks so much to all our donors for their support. Complete information on how you can help appears below. But first, Thomas Steuben explains why your support is so crucial right now. (more…)

Every day under the Brandon regime brings a new outrage or embarrassment, but last week was one of the most shocking outrages I have seen in some time. A Trump-appointed judge, Trevor McFadden, sentenced Christian Secor to three-and-a-half years in prison, followed by three years of probation. This is after Secor had already served 40 days in solitary confinement followed by months of house arrest. His supposedly heinous crime? (more…)

Most classical liberal thinking, which is still ultimately liberal and thus subversive, is based on the idea of the Lockean social contract. But what if the idea of a social contract is a complete farce? Given that classical liberalism underpins much of lukewarm conservatism, if we knock out the idea of social contracts, we also knock out conservatism. (more…)

This White Boy Summer was blessed by a temporary return to the tradition of great movies with the release of Top Gun: Maverick. In an otherwise culturally drab era, Maverick is well named, as it is itself a maverick that bucks current trends. We find in this revival of the Top Gun franchise not another uninspired Hollywood cash grab, but a revival of our race’s traditionalism and Faustian spirit. Additionally, Maverick accidentally ends up revealing much about where the United States military is headed. (more…)

Modern economics are in large part defined by the premise that infinite growth is both possible and desirable — if not always in theory, then at least in how most major economic actors behave. The green line should always go up — at least in the long term. If one takes a step back, this is unrealistic. Even if we could create ever more producers and consumers and make them ever more efficient, there is a limited amount of resources: food, land, rare metals, oil, and so on. (more…)

The Dissident Right is well familiar with Bertrand de Jouvenel’s theory of High Low versus Middle (HLvM). Even ordinary people have grown familiar with his theory, as they have had to experience it in their daily lives for the past several years, but especially since 2020. Most people might have never heard of de Jouvenel, but this does not matter. (more…)

Our circles thoroughly discuss racial issues, but something that is not discussed as much is caste. In the traditional worldview, caste is as real as race and is just as formative of the individual. (more…)

I began an investigation into astrology several months back, coincidentally around the time that many other Right-wingers were doing the same, according to PhilosophiCat. I didn’t know that at the time, and so it is like we were all tapped into the same wavelength. (more…)

In a previous article, I explained how it has become undeniable that America has died in spirit. But the flip side of such a gloomy outlook is actually quite cheerful. We cannot save “our nation” if we mean the old United States, but we can save “our nation” if we mean to shelter, guide, and nurture the beginning of a new nation that is completely different from the old in its essence, even if it may entail some external trappings from the old world. In my last essay, I predicted that the trucker convoys would either hasten the fall of the regime if they were a success, or would hasten the fall of lukewarm conservatism if they failed. It has become painfully clear that they have failed. Lukewarm conservativism that conserves nothing will still continue, but in a lesser state. (more…)

The various trucker convoys being launched across America are both a beginning and an end. Regardless of their outcome, they are a major milestone in the collapse of the United States. (more…)

Those who want a quick refresher on the basics of game theory may wish to review my first article on the subject, which applied game theory to race relations. Game theory is even better suited for describing international relations, and can be used to make sense of the complicated border crisis between Poland and Belarus and how it fits into a broader geopolitical conflict.
