Women’s basketball has surged in popularity among American sports fans over the past few years, thanks largely to the shooting skills of Caitlin Clark. Clark, a 22-year-old who hails from the state of Iowa, recently became the all-time leading scorer in the history of college basketball. Throughout her four years playing for the University of Iowa, Clark entertained spectators with her unmatched ability to make shots from long distances. The broadcast of last season’s women’s national championship game between Clark’s Iowa team and the University of South Carolina drew 18.9 million viewers, which not only set the viewership record for a women’s basketball game but actually received higher ratings than the next night’s men’s championship game. According to BBC News, “The phenomenon of her influence has been dubbed the Caitlin Clark Effect.”
Now that she has graduated, Clark has chosen to continue her basketball career in the WNBA, the women’s counterpart to the National Basketball Association (NBA). The WNBA has been languishing in obscurity since its inception in 1997. Historically, there has been little fan interest in women’s professional basketball, and the WNBA would not be able to survive on its own without the $15 million it receives each year from the NBA. The Spain-based sports outlet Diario AS recently observed that “the financial resources from ticket sales, merchandise, and broadcasting deals are not sufficient to sustain WNBA operations independently.” In fact, in all the years of its existence, the WNBA has never made a profit.
The league’s future is now looking much brighter, however. Multiple teams have already announced that they are moving their home games that are being played against Clark’s new team, the Indiana Fever, to larger arenas in response to the expected uptick in fan interest. Considering that Caitlin Clark has brought millions of new fans to women’s college basketball, one might assume that everyone associated with the WNBA would be positively overjoyed by her arrival. Not so. An article in the Los Angeles Times alleged that Clark’s rise to stardom has “fueled some bitterness” among “veteran players who have struggled for years with low pay, commercial travel and little media coverage.” The trouble, you see, is that Caitlin Clark is white in a league where most of the players are black. Whites account for less than one-fifth of the athletes in the WNBA, while blacks make up an outright majority.
A’ja Wilson is the leading scorer on the Las Vegas Aces, who have won the league championship each of the last two years. Twice in her career she has won the Most Valuable Player award, the league’s highest individual honor. She believes that much of Clark’s popularity is due to her race. Here is what Wilson had to say about Clark in an interview she gave a few weeks ago:
I think it’s a huge thing. I think a lot of people may say it’s not about Black [sic] and White [sic], but to me, it is. It really is because you can be top-notch at what you are as a Black [sic] woman, but yet maybe that’s something that people don’t want to see. They don’t see it as marketable, so it doesn’t matter how hard I work. It doesn’t matter what we all do as Black [sic] women, we’re still going to be swept underneath the rug. That’s why it boils my blood when people say it’s not about race because it is.
Attorney and journalist Sunny Hostin, who is black, echoed these complaints about Clark, claiming that she benefits not only from “white privilege” but also “pretty privilege” and “tall privilege.” Hostin likewise brought up the basketball star’s sexuality with comments she made on The View, a nationally-televised talk show that she co-hosts:
Now, Caitlin Clark is bringing this money, these sponsorships, we hope, into the league and other players will benefit from it. But I do think that she is more relatable to more people because she’s White [sic], because she’s attractive, and unfortunately, there still is that stigma against the LGBTQ+ community. Seventy percent of the WNBA is Black [sic]. A third of the players are in the LGBTQ+ community and we have to do something about that stigma in this country. I think people have a problem with basketball playing women that are lesbians. Who cares? They are great athletes.
Some conservative media outlets have come to Clark’s defense. Kristen Flemming of the New York Post argued that Clark’s popularity is solely due to her skill as a player, and ripped Hostin for her alleged “detachment from reality.” She also wrote that Clark “transcends all of this identitarian nonsense.” The Washington Examiner recently published a piece titled “Caitlin Clark doesn’t check the Left’s politically correct boxes — and that’s OK” which lambasted the “wokeness” of her critics.
While it’s easy to laugh at Clark’s detractors and poke fun at the obvious envy and insecurity she elicits among some black players, I think that the Caitlin Clark controversy offers some valuable lessons for whites. Firstly, it must be conceded that there is a kernel of truth in what Wilson and Hostin are saying. Most of the attention that Clark receives is a result of her success on the court, but her being pretty, thin, and white certainly does not hurt — especially for white, male fans. Would she be as marketable if she, like much of the WNBA, was black, lesbian, and looked and dressed in a way that was not as conventionally feminine? I don’t doubt that she would still have plenty of fans, but would the “Caitlin Clark Effect” be so powerful if she looked like former WNBA star Brittney Griner, for example? Probably not.
Until Clark came along, the WNBA was essentially “black territory,” and from the perspective of its black players, it was unquestionably “theirs.” I suspect that this was especially true for lesbian players, who make up more than a fourth of the league. I cannot think of any other field besides women’s professional basketball where black lesbians, a tiny minority, are so prominent. Furthermore, the WNBA has a track record of being overtly political. In 2020, the league explicitly dedicated its entire season to racial activism on behalf of blacks. But due to the lack of public interest in women’s basketball at the time, this move did not garner much attention.
Though there is more excitement surrounding the WNBA now than at any time in its history, much of it is centered on a white newcomer who has quickly become the public face of the sport. Without a doubt, higher fan attendance at games, as well as better television ratings, are going to raise salaries and improve working conditions for all players. Yet, for WNBA players who are black, lesbian, or both, the WNBA is no longer “theirs” in the same way that it once was. I would go so far as to argue that the league’s previous lack of mainstream appeal, owing in part to the fact that many sports fans saw it as a black, lesbian league (and thus not for them) was precisely what allowed this tiny minority to fly under the radar and carve out a space of their own. Now, thanks to the “Caitlin Clark Effect,” the metaphorical walls that insulated this subculture from the rest of the professional sports landscape are being bulldozed. That some veteran players resent Clark for this is hardly surprising.
What is happening in the WNBA is analogous to the gentrification of black neighborhoods. When wealthier non-blacks move into a black community, set up businesses, and renovate much of the available housing, property values and economic opportunity rise. But for established residents, this comes at a cost. The culture of the neighborhood is no longer the same.
The same loss of local culture occurs when large numbers of non-whites move into white communities, though without the resulting rise in property values. Instead, we get crime, disorder, and a loss of social capital. For instance, the once-white urban neighborhood where my grandmother grew up is no longer hospitable for whites. I’m sure you can guess why.
The same thing has happened in Minnesota, where Somalians have conquered a portion of that state, as shown by the fact that they have elected Mogadishu-born Ilhan Omar to represent them in Congress. In January she delivered a controversial speech, in Somali, in which she pledged to use her influence to support Somalia’s territorial integrity. Here is an excerpt from what she said:
We as Somalis should have that confidence in ourselves. We live in this country. We pay taxes in this country. It’s a country where one of your own sits in Congress. As long as I’m in Congress no one will take Somalia’s sea. And the United States will not support other people to rob us. Rest assured Minnesotans. The woman you sent to Congress is aware of you and has the same interest as you.
These words, spoken in a foreign tongue, serve to highlight the absurdity of allowing these paper citizens to vote in the first place. But, seeing as they are here and can vote, Ilhan Omar is exactly right. Unfortunately for us, they do “live in this country,” and we should expect that they will inevitably elect leaders who share their tribal interests. Furthermore, we can also expect them to defend their newly-gained “turf” from outsiders. The whites who built the neighborhoods that the Somalians now dominate simply moved elsewhere. In other words, they surrendered their territory.
As for the WNBA, Caitlin Clark has received a rather cold welcome to professional basketball, to say the least. Last Saturday, she was the recipient of a hard foul by Chennedy Carter of the Chicago Sky. In what was clearly a dirty play, Carter, who is black, slammed her shoulder into Clark while her back was turned. After the game, Carter again went after Clark by way of a social media post criticizing her basketball abilities. The meaning of this interaction is clear: Regardless of how many points Clark scores, there is a contingent of players who feel that the WNBA is their league, not hers. In this analogy, the league is their neighborhood, with its own demographic and cultural character, and the longtime residents do not wish to be replaced.
White Americans would do well to adopt a similar attitude as Ilhan Omar and the disgruntled players of the WNBA. There may be more strangers in our midst than ever before, but we’re still here. We are under no obligation to accept the program of displacement and dispossession that the ruling class has planned for us. Instead, we must organize to protect what is ours.

Social disorder comes to white neighborhoods… Just yesterday at a grocery store in North Olmsted Ohio, not far from where I live , a random knife attack in the parking lot killed a 3 year old boy and hospitalized his mother.
Has anyone else heard this story?? Of course we all know that if the races were reversed it would be global news by now.
When are we going to hold hands and sing “we shall overcome?”
It is sad and disgusting the way this young lady is being treated in the WNBA, but I see it as just one more giant white pill that is opening up the eyes of normies to just how much we are despised by these jealous and bitter children. If she perseveres it will be a testament to her will and character but I fear she will eventually be chewed up, spit out and end up having a nervous breakdown. The one thing that is almost certain is she will never be accepted by these wannabe men covered in tattoos and sporting cornrows.
The Negro uses violence to enforce their territorial ownership but the White Girl is supposed to win with ‘character’?
When are Whites going to look at stuff like this and stop thinking ‘We’ll show’em how great we are!’
I feel sorry for Caitlin Clark because she’s chosen a profession filled to the brim with dumb, belligerent, entitled Negros.
But, then, what profession isn’t?
You are absolutely right. It was crazy for her to even consider going there at all. And I agree, it would be fantastic for her to just say at her next post game press conference “These ghetto trash hoes are just mad that a white girl from Iowa is showing them how it’s done. Cry harder bitches.”
Great article on a subject about which I knew little, except that I heard this exemplary white athlete is making a huge amount of money on endorsement deals – tens of millions. Imagine being set for life financially after a single year playing basketball (I doubt this girl will be like the typical black athlete, at least of yesteryear, who would blow his earnings in a few retirement years living a ‘pimp’ lifestyle). That’s why she’s doing this, besides being an excellent athlete wishing to excel at what she’s good at. Maybe she’ll quit at 25 with $25 million (or more) banked.
Do we need a tall ( enough ) honey trap to guide Miss Clark’s exceptional genetics and her bank balance to the realms of race realism and White survival? Given her experiences in the workplace she might be receptive.
More proof (not that we need any more) we cannot coexist. This racial tension will never go away. Reconsider embarking on our Breakaway Civilization in perpetuity & head for the stars on our unquenchable thirst for knowledge & excellence. Caitlin Clark is that excellence.
We must each become in our hearts the ‘breakaway civilization’ we wish to bring forth.
Thanks for covering this topic. In a properly White Identitarian world, Whites wouldn’t watch Negro-dominated sports so as not to provide any ‘aid and comfort to the enemy’.
I hope Ms. Clark’s participation in the WNBA doesn’t help the Lesbian Negro Basketball League one bit.
”Ms Clark.” Is she a lesbian? At least here in the antipodes, I rarely meet a normal, young unmarried woman who doesn’t consider herself to be Miss. It’s only when their hair turns green or they hit the wall that they become Ms (whatever that is). I accept that the reprogramming is more advanced in N. America.
In contemporary American English the one is simply the abbreviation of the other. There is no sense difference in usage.
Interesting. I guess Will Williams below probably doesn’t represent contemporary usage! In Australia such titles are rapidly falling into disuse and my perception is that this is now happening in the U.S.A. too, especially among liberals. Everyone is referred to by his given name (it was still called a Christian name until the early 1980s in Oz) with no sense of progression as afforded by master/young to mister or miss to missus (mistress). School teachers, for now, remain a notable exception but even many, many academics, particularly men, seem uncomfortable with their doctor or professor titles. Female academics tend to love theirs more.
The whole given name as identity thing is perfectly in line with breaking the primary bonds to family and the retirement of titles leaves children and elders on the same level, with only those oh-so-wise schoolteachers possessing the old prestige.
She’s not a lesbian which adds to her competition hating her since a vast majority of the players are lesbian. And they need to stop comparing women’s scoring with men’s scoring records. They use a smaller ball which makes it easier to fit into the same size hoop. They have a shorter shot clock which logically increases the pace. And Pistol Pete played with no shot clock or 3 point line and no freshman eligibility. He was incredible and I got to see him put up 40 one night against the Lakers live. He was entertaining and amazing. They need to stop comparing apples and oranges of men and women. She really ought to play in Europe except they are probably overrun by Africans too.

A search reveals that Caitlin is normal and has a boyfriend.
“Contemporary American English,” or as you put it, “the reprogramming,” in this case is a euphemism for feminization of our language.
It’s like the changing of pronouns to favor the masculine (he, him, his) when the gender of a following pronoun is not female or unknown to match the singular antecedent subject, or even to use a plural pronoun rather than a matching singular one.
It sounds like in Australia the feminization of language hasn’t caught on as much as in “progressive” America.
Here, for us thick-necked traditionalists, we so-called “misogynists” who refuse to go along with the feminization of our language, ‘Miss’ is still the title that designates a single female, whereas ‘Mrs.’ is the title for a married female; she still gives up her maiden name and takes her husband’s last name.
Feminists — especially anti-traditional marriage lesbians — couldn’t stand that so have substituted ‘Ms.,’ which substitutes for both Miss and Mrs., to confuse the issue. Many easily led Americans have been trained to accept and use Ms. now.
I didn’t care enough about the issue to research her marital status as it wasn’t relevant to my concerns.

The beauty of this Internet is that when, for example, a question is raised “Is she a lesbian?” a few quick key strokes puts the issue to rest in less than a minute: No, she’s a normal White girl.
Try to imagine what it would have taken prior to ubiquitous computers in this “information age.” A trip to the public or school library, looking through the card catalog for a periodical with a story about Miss Clark, then securing a magazine or two, if available, and reading them to discover she has a normal White fiancé.
Those were the days when a beefy lesbian Negress hoopster would never have hatefully bumped an innocent, talented White girl to the hardwood and have it become an issue in the news cycle — much less have the “sexual orientation” of the White victim become the concern of anyone who values his time.
A more appropriate question might be “Is Caitlin a victim of racial hatred?” The answer to any racially conscious White is yes, without his doing an Internet search.
This response did not thread to the intended comment.
Clark… recently became the all-time leading scorer in the history of college basketball.
—
A talented young lady caught up in a nigger enterprise. Too bad.
My interest in her was piqued when I had heard she broke my old high school classmate and friend Pete Maravich’s record as the all-time leading scorer. High school and college bastardball was virtually all-White back then and Pete was an absolute pleasure to watch. For lovers of biographies there are several about Pete. I recommend Pistol: The Life of Pete Maravich, a NY Times best seller, available on Amazon

Now, if only Whites will quit supporting the NBA (NiggerBallAssociation), it will languish likewise.
Maravich was one of the greatest college players ever, no doubt about that. I used to watch the NBA regularly, but rarely do anymore. It’s an anti-White enterprise through and through, and that goes all the way to the top with commissioner Adam (((Silver))) and many of the franchise owners.
Last year there was a funny situation when Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving, an Australian-born Black player, got suspended for reposting some wacky Black Hebrew Israelite documentary that claimed Blacks are the real Jews. He certainly learned who his real masters are!
Dave Chambers: June 4, 2024 Maravich was one of the greatest college players ever, no doubt about that.

We agree on that much, Dave.
I hit the hyperlink in the fourth paragraph of you essay to read the article by the Negro reporter, quoting the Negress hoopster, A’ja Wilson. She reportedly said:
“I think it’s a huge thing. I think a lot of people may say it’s not about Black and white, but to me, it is…”
Note that Miss A’ja is reported as having capitalized Black in her quote and using lower case for white.
But when you cite A’ja’s quote from that same article you wrote:
“I think it’s a huge thing. I think a lot of people may say it’s not about Black [sic] and White [sic], but to me, it is…”
A’ja capitalized Black, all right, or at least the Black reporter did, but you added [sic] (indicating that it is exactly as A’ja was allegedly quoted in the original). The Black reporter actually did capitalize Black, so why did you add [sic]?
A’ja is quoted by the Black reporter as saying white, lower case, in her original statement, yet you changed it to White, capitalized, and added [sic[ again. That struck me as odd.
Now, we are pretty sure that A’ja’s statement was likely oral, not written, so the Black reporter was editorializing by capitalizing the word for his/her race and using lower case for our melaninly-challenged Aryans, the race he and A’ja resent, perhaps hate. The Black reporter revealed his racial bias later when he wrote:
Neither [Larry] Bird nor Clark were the first great white male or female pro basketball players.
There he goes again. Anyway, I noticed you changed the Black reporter’s lower case white to White then added [sic]. Why?
I always capitalize White when referring to our race and encourage others to. I also capitalize Black when referring to Negroes, like capitalizing Jew. Let the Blacks try to denigrate our race by writing white when referring to us. So what? Our message is for our people — White people — and the word White should be capitalized when we are referring to our race.
You may disagree, but nothing is gained by our denigrating or disparaging competing races by using lower case when referring to them. To Hell with them.
Respectfully, I’m going to question the tactical utility of upper-casing ‘negro’ or ‘jew’. I routinely lower-case ‘negro’ and ‘jew’ while upper-casing ‘White’ because in my discourse, Whites are favored and jews and negros are not. Lately, I’ve started consistently asking myself ‘What’s the value of X for my (White) people?’ to just about everything. So, I asked myself, ‘What is the value of upper-casing ‘jew’ or ‘negro’?’ and I realized there wasn’t one. So I stopped.
Overall, I think my view is that Whites need to stop thinking they’re the ‘standard’ for other races and that it’s the job of Whites to ‘set the standard’ for other races.
It’s not.
And while it might seem petty or vindictive to lower-case ‘jew’ and ‘negro’ while upper-casing ‘White’, that’s simply a value-judgement embedded in the assumption that Whites should be ‘better’ and not ‘stoop’ to behaving like our enemies.
Well, let me point out that our enemies have largely won every cultural and communication struggle in which they’ve decided to fully engage and we have not.
And part of the reason for their victory is filtering every action through the ‘How does this benefit my people?’ at the capillary level of existence.
If I smile at a White person and they don’t smile back, how was our people harmed?
If I smile at a non-White person and they don’t smile back, how were my people helped?
I’m not a Politeness Nationalist.
I’m not a Fairness Nationalist.
I’m not a Reasonableness Nationalist.
I’m a White Nationalist.
My goal is for everything I do to benefit White people and hurt the enemies of Whites.

Well said, Wimpy. To each his own and for his own reasons. My apologies for taking this off-topic.
To get things back on the topic of Miss Caitlin, C-C- readers might enjoy the photo found here of Pete Maravich and Larry Bird when they were teammates near the end of their careers: “It’s Time for an Aryan Basketball League” at whitebioccentrism.com
Compare the all-time records of Pete and of Caitlin who supposedly broke them. It’s like comparing apples to oranges. What took Caitlin four years Pete accomplished in three, and before the three-point credit for all of those long shots he sank.
I’m no talmudist but I believe the Jews have a rule whereby they are not allowed to act in favour of a gentile unless by doing so they will bring greater favour on their own brethren (or something like that). Given White people’s predilection for moral communities and fairness I would be careful about using your system in propaganda which might be seen by uncommitted Whites. Any harm done to the enemy, who already hates you, may be exceeded by that done to the reputation of your ideas amongst fair-minded potential recruits.
Caitlin Clark should get out of the WNBA. It’s not for her; clearly most of the players don’t want her there. She may suffer much greater harm from her desire to continue playing basketball there.
Is it just me who thinks it’s a waste of time for this girl to chase the ball?
Shouldn’t she be popping out a large Huwhite baby every two years?
That nasty somali creature was not elected to congress by fellow somalis but by something far more threatening to white people: white women.
Great and timely post. I believe Clark has the potential to change the game, currently unwatchable in its under regulated feral form.
I reffed for 30 years including some professional men’s games. Once you start trying to actually enforce the rules of the game you’re going to face dynamic resistance from each angle. Players, coaches, critics and fans will let you have it. The ref, actually the whole crew, that allowed Clark to be blindsided on a dead ball and wound up with a no call, even after reviewing it, should have their entire schedule pulled. We all miss calls. I’ve fessed up to it in a quiet moment to a coach or player and gained their respect. Of course it can’t be every game or you’re done. The black players are clearly jealous and genuinely trying to damage her physically and mentally. If they are stupid enough to think this league means anything to the general public without Clark in it, then they’re supremely stupid. Shoving the gift horse to the floor shows they lack basic intelligence. But I digress. Another reason blacks should be isolated and far from us.
Antipodean: June 7, 2024 …I would be careful about using your system in propaganda which might be seen by uncommitted Whites. Any harm done to the enemy, who already hates you, may be exceeded by that done to the reputation of your ideas amongst fair-minded potential recruits…
Huh? Our “propaganda system” is simple: tell the truth to counter Jewish lies. See: “Our Weapon: The Truth” at nationalvanguard.org
“Fair-minded potential recruits” to our cause should appreciate being enlightened with difficult truths we provide to them — or let them go on believing lies they’ve been fed all their lives. Not everyone can handle uncomfortable truths.
You’re correct about how Jewry views we goyim in their Talmud. They are allegedly chosen by their deity Yahweh to rule over us. We have only been created by their god to serve them <roll eyes!>.
Any White who buys into that is hardly going to be influenced by our truths, nor will they ever fight for the interests or the preservation of their own kind. They are more likely to side with the Jew against those of us who fight for them. Fact!
Thanks for the reply Mr Williams. Given the length of the sub-thread I ought to have made clear that my suggestion was to Mr H. Today about his selective capitalisations. In propaganda aimed at uncommitted, curious Whites who put great store in truth, fairness and honour I don’t think the tactic will bear much fruit. It might be useful with established nationalists to remind them that Whites are more important than blacks or jews. Purely from my own experience of on-line propaganda I believe I would have found that sort of thing petty and off-putting when I was first dipping my toe in. Now that I’m up to my waist I can see the idea behind it.
Antipodean: June 8, 2024 …I guess Will Williams below probably doesn’t represent contemporary usage!

Correct. How’d you guess? I was taught correct grammar in elementary school back in the 1950s. Call me old-fashioned. Much of the so-called “contemporary” changes to our language are little more than Political Correctness.
I visited your country twice back in 1969 when the White Australia Policy was largely still in place. What a lovely, practically all-White nation that was before Asianization kicked in.

Everyone is referred to by his given name (it was still called a Christian name until the early 1980s in Oz)…
—
Calling an Aryan’s first or given name his “Christian” or “baptismal” name is unfortunate. David, Jonathan, Samuel, Joshua, Daniel, Joseph, Simon, etc., etc., may be considered Christian but actually are Hebrew.
It’s time that racially conscious Whites cease naming their precious babies after their racial enemy’s patriarchs.
I completely agree with you on the use of language, especially names, as thought control. How far does this go back though?
It would be intriguing to know the granular history of the Christian name. Dating back at least to the mid-eighteenth century it was British custom to refer to men preferentially by their name (surname). I’m guessing the Christian name was so-called because it was bestowed at the time of baptism, and to remind us that we were now Christians! By early modern times at the latest it probably wasn’t for everyday use outside the household. Was the whole system imposed in Europe by the Church, by individual kings or was it a social contagion like “Ms”?
Iceland, I believe, still largely adheres to what is thought to be N. Europe’s ancient system, a given name followed by a true patronym or sometimes matronym. GLR’s second wife Thora Hallgrimsson is an example of the transition to inherited family names in action, as her surname is actually her grandfather’s patronym, derived from her great-grandfather’s given name. Her grandfather adopted the local custom of a fixed surname whilst living in Canada where her father was born As her father’s given name is also Halgrimur she is sometimes also remembered as Halmgrimsdottir.

Antipodean: June 9, 2024 I completely agree with you on the use of language, especially names, as thought control. How far does this go back though?
I don’t know how far back European peoples have been naming their children after Jews rather than their own kinsmen. I’ll leave the discovery of that to others. But our people were European long before we were “Christianized,” more or less at the point of a lance,
My point is, look forward rather than to this past custom of naming our children with Hebrew or Christian names. Stop it! Cease!
It is not difficult to name our babies with European names rather than Middle Eastern Hebrew names — or to go to the courthouse and legally change one’s Hebrew name to something more appropriate. Several National Alliance members have done just that.
Negros, though many still largely claim to be Christian, have certainly gotten away from giving their children Hebrew names. Some laughable ones found in an Internet search: Cellularphoniqua, Unidastazovamerikaliqua, Alejandrisha Fri’chikenisha, Que’Shayda, Bo’Vanashrianiqualiquanice Toprameneesha, La’Quishria, King’Kong’Quisha, Colla’greeniqua.
We can laugh, but those are their kids. They can name them anything they want. We can do better with names that are more meaningful to us.
To get halfway back on topic, The name Caitlin is a girl’s name of Irish origin meaning “pure” — an Irish and Welsh form of Catherine with many other European variants:
