I’m rather despairing, like derb I think we are doomed. As when Feanor beheld the towers of morgoth, he knew no power of the elves would ever topple them. But I also agree that we mustn’t become agents of our own defeat through not fighting due to despair, for fears may be liars. As when Denethor succumbed to despair when Sauron showed him the black fleet in the palantir. We are not wise enough to know all ends. Our struggle has a heroic elegiac tone, like the Norse Edda. I will(may) see you in Valhalla!
