Fox News’ coverage of the 2020 election alienated much of their viewership. The network was the first to call Arizona for Biden, refused to call Florida for Trump even when 90% of the votes had been counted, and declared Biden the winner of the election. Fox News’ ratings have since declined, and many white Trump supporters are seeking out alternative media. This is good news for white nationalists.
Fox has denied claims of voter fraud and has encouraged Trump to begin preparing for a Biden presidency. Never-Trumper Neil Cavuto cut away from the Trump campaign’s post-election press conference after Kayleigh McEnany accused the Democratic Party of voter fraud, saying that he needed to hear more “details” (of course, cutting her off prevented her from sharing any details). Last week, Fox & Friends co-host Bryan Kilmeade said that Trump should “start coordinating” with Biden. Laura Ingraham also laughably suggested that Republicans should “find common ground” with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Even Tucker Carlson has been a disappointment. Carlson slammed former Trump attorney Sidney Powell on his show and demanded that she procure evidence to support her claims of voter fraud. He claimed that Powell “got angry” upon being asked to show evidence and concluded with a weird plea for his viewers to respect the “truth.” Rich Lowry, the editor of the National Review, described Carlson’s position as “admirable.”
Powell denied Carlson’s claim and said that she declined Carlson’s offer to come on the show because she is busy preparing for the case. It makes sense that she would decline to present evidence on TV before doing so in court.
I can’t comment on the exact claims made by Powell. But given the extremely suspicious circumstances of Biden’s victory and the fact that the Democrats were hell-bent on winning, the burden of proof is on them. Carlson should be haranguing the Democrats instead and demanding that they show evidence of their innocence.
After Election Day, Fox News’ favorability rating among Republicans dropped by 13 percent, and the percent of Republicans with an unfavorable view of the network doubled. Two weeks ago, MSNBC’s Morning Joe topped Fox & Friends for the first time since 2001. From the two weeks before Election Day to the two weeks after, Fox News’ viewership fell by 32 percent. Fox’s audience on YouTube is also shrinking. According to Transparency Tube, mainstream Right-wing YouTube channels (most prominently Fox News) are losing views, while “fringe” Right-wing channels have seen an uptick in popularity.
Prior to the election, Fox News was performing quite well. In the first quarter of 2020, they captured the top five shows in prime time, and Fox & Friends had more viewers than Morning Joe and CNN’s New Day combined. Fox News’ record-high numbers remained steady through the summer and up to the election. They finished October with the top five shows in prime time and averaged almost five million prime-time viewers.
It is customary for networks to experience a drop in viewers when the favored candidate of their viewership loses, but in this case, there is clearly more going on.
Fox News’ ratings would have suffered less if Carlson had stood up for Trump. Carlson’s fresh-faced, all-American persona and populist message are beloved by millions of white Trump supporters. Tucker Carlson Tonight is the most popular show in the history of cable TV. I suspect Carlson’s recent turn was the last straw for many Fox News viewers.
Most Fox News viewers are white, normie conservative boomers who grew up in a normatively white, high-trust America. They are generally the types of people who respect authority and have faith in the system. But more and more of them are waking up to the fact that they can no longer trust mainstream authorities — even people like Carlson — and that the America of their childhood no longer exists.
Fox News’ coverage of the election could be a turning point for conservative boomers. Of course, many still watch Fox News out of habit. Or they have simply migrated to Newsmax, a conservative news outlet endorsed by Trump. But increasing numbers of them are turning to alternative platforms: YouTube, Twitter, Parler, online message boards. This more decentralized media network means that they’ll be more likely to come into contact with White Nationalist or Alt-Right sources.
As a zoomer, I would like to extend an olive branch to boomers. Anything that drives a wedge between white people subverts the cause of white nationalism and must be opposed. You could say I am pro-diversity. Just not racial diversity.
Beyond that, boomers are an asset to the cause. They are more financially secure and have more disposable income than average, so they are in a better position to contribute financially to pro-white organizations. Boomers also have more social capital than young people. They are more likely to be established and respected members of their communities. If more people like that became open white nationalists, it would have a big impact. (Both of these points also apply to homosexuals, another demographic that the Right would be foolish to alienate.)
Finally, a lot of us have family members and friends who are boomers. If they came around to our way of thinking, it would lead to greater understanding between the generations.
Older adults are less receptive to new ideas than young people, but the fact that all white people have an innate preference for their own kind works in our favor. Also, many people start thinking about their heritage as they approach old age. When people are forced to confront their mortality, they start thinking about what is really important in life. Boomers are rightly known for being clueless and self-absorbed, but this could change.
Conservative boomers are beginning to wake up to America’s peril. They are becoming disillusioned with Fox News and normie conservatism and are unplugging from the mainstream media ecosystem. Some will inevitably stumble on white nationalist sites. We should take advantage of this.

If Trump supporters are turning away from traditional news agencies like Fox, and they are seeking alternative sources like Newsmax and Parler, and if this is a good opportunity for White Nationalists to reach out to them, then, why is it that Counter-Currents does not have an account on either Parler or Gab?
Jared Taylor has one.
VDare has one.
Res non verba.
If there were enough hours in the day and shekels in the bank, there would be.
I’m sorry Buttercup, I don’t understand your comment. These sites are free, and pasting a link to the ciunter-currents articles only takes a couple of seconds. I’ve shared some myself. Or did you mean something else?
No shekels required. Greg has only to mirror what he puts up elsewhere and push a few more buttons.
Yes you are right not being on parler and gab is a missed opportunity. Especially to find other potential donors.
Our discussions would potentially get more mileage as well. Imagine these comments on a Parler post. Much more exposure.
However, in the mean time, theres nothing stopping you from sharing articles you like off here.
Fox has always been a controlled opposition psyop. It exists to steer conservative minded people into supporting the financial rape of America and evermore military adventurism. Tucker himself has admitted he’s a “country club Republican”. Why would I ever watch that network?
I think you are overestimating BoomerCons. They will just flock to other ideological safe spaces like OANN and Newsmax. Instead of facing up to their own philosophical and moral failings. “Fox has become too Liberal” will be the mantra. Admitting they’ve been horribly wrong is just too earth shattering for them to bear.
My big beef with Fox News now is their pandering to the “Never Masks, Never Vaccines” crowd, who refuse to listen to honest doctors about how dangerous this worldwide virus is. I realize that lockdowns are a vast problem for our economy, as well as the small shop-owners and local restaurants, and many will suffer financial ruin, and many of these shop-owners are hard-working White people. I also realize churches and their weekly services are a life-line for some socially-challenged people, and that drug-addiction is increasing due to a break with normal channels of social interaction. However, as a senior, I am facing yet another entire year of staying home, shopping only online — including weekly groceries, and yesterday’s Thanksgiving meal delivered from an upscale restaurant — so, I am not really suffering from living in suburban America behind locked doors. I can still drive around with windows closed and see sights in my own city down the road, and could probably travel 100 miles in any direction without having to leave the car — but museum visits, concerts, and most other social events are out. I fear even going to the ATM. So, I am less than thrilled with having Fox News anchors ridicule the ‘lockdown’ as some government stunt to control our lives. I’m still controlling my own life, thank you, and using my own brain in response to what I consider a very real problem facing the entire world. Maybe I am being fed a load of BS by my government, but I’m erring on the side of safety and a longer life, and hopefully becoming a ‘super-spreader’ of White Nationalism.
You should watch “Lockdown TV” on UnHerd, a series of interviews, dating back to last April, with leading experts on the handling of Covid.

I’m still controlling my own life, thank you, and using my own brain in response to what I consider a very real problem facing the entire world
And the rest of us would also like to be treated as competent adults capable of deciding for ourselves (and our children) what we are willing to do (or not do) to maintain our health. Our system caters to the weakest, sickest, and most fearful. What kind of society is that.
The Germ Theory (Pasteur’s idea) is going to die sooner or later, even if it takes the Apocalypse to make it happen. It is based on a nasty, childish, backward view of the world.
You frequently comment on CC articles so I am going to assume you have an above average IQ.
Its now December. The ‘truther/dissident/free thinker’ community has known for a long time that this ‘pandemic’ is not as dangerous as we were originally told. Many now think that the goal of the operation was to transfer wealth to the billionaire class, destroy small businesses and bring in the Global Great Reset.
Its fine for the elderly, sick, or worried people to err on the side of caution. But don’t expect everyone else to shut down their lives.
I haven’t seen Fox pushing vaccine skepticism but if they are then that is an objectively GOOD thing.
Vaccines cause harm. The dissident right needs to get educated on this topic. You can’t increase the birth rate if you become infertile and unhealthy.
Why would you want to be injected by bigpharma and the government? Do you trust them?
Masks may help in some situations but its clear they are being used for control/submission.
Yes, Fox committed suicide very publicly over the past few weeks. It thought that it’s viewers would have nowhere else to go, forgetting to take into account the declining significance of the cable news medium. I must disagree regarding Tucker Carlson, though. I do watch his program every evening—it’s the only cable news I watch. Many of us simply expect too much from him. He is not one of us, though he is the greatest asset we now have. He is a civic nationalist who abhors racial politics abd cares deeply about the constitutional republican system. Notwithstanding the ugly death of journalism, Tucker obviously still very much cares for the old standards of his profession. He devotes large segments to demonstrating that the voter fraud was in fact real. He was only critical of Powell because he wants to see the evidence. He came across as petulant and impatient, and it was certainly annoying, but he never once implied that there was no evidence; just that he wants to see it. People like me do not need to see “evidence” to know what happened, and there is no doubt in my mind that Powell can verify everything she has thus far exposed. As the last real journalist left in the American mainstream, Tucker just likes to do this Is and cross his Ts. I would have left Powell alone if I were in his position, but, even as I watched, I did not interpret it as any kind of selling out. I am critical of Tucker for many reasons, but this is not one of them.
“Even Tucker Carlson has been a disappointment.
It makes sense that she would decline to present evidence on TV before doing so in court.”
Seems quite reasonable to me for a TV host to expect his guests to produce evidence for their claims. If Powell wanted to save the evidence for court, he shouldn’t have gone on TV. And if Powell can’t produce the evidence in court, will you apologize to Tucker and retract your attack?
“Laura Ingraham also laughably suggested that Republicans should “find common ground” with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.”
This is a very dishonest claim, as the “common ground” cited had nothing to do with the election. It was about the China-NBA controversy.
“As a zoomer, I would like to extend an olive branch to boomers. Anything that drives a wedge between white people subverts the cause of white nationalism and must be opposed. You could say I am pro-diversity. Just not racial diversity.”
Well, the demands for people to recognize Trump’s mostly baseless claims of fraud and implicitly pretend he’s something other than another corporate Republican is mightily dividing white people now. I foresee yet another split in WN; of which there will be two daughter movements, one about actual issues like immigration and affirmative action and another about hero worship of Donald Trump.
She wasn’t a guest on Tucker’s show. She was invited but declined.
“one about actual issues like immigration and affirmative action and another about hero worship of Donald Trump.”
There is very little hero worship of Trump, it’s all conditional on the idea that he fights for immigration restriction. Even Patriot Prayer and Oathkeeper tier normiecons have an “if Trump won’t step up, we will” attitude.
Quote: “Well, the demands for people to recognize Trump’s mostly baseless claims of fraud and implicitly pretend he’s something other than another corporate Republican is mightily dividing white people now.”
So the massive and very real election fraud is no longer “without evidence” but “mostly baseless”?
You’re a concern troll and a shill. No honest person with a decent IQ would think the number of votes for Biden has any basis in reality after what we have observed in the last few weeks with past elections in mind too.
More votes than Black Jesus got in 2008 + 2012 or any other presidential candidate before?
Come on! You don’t have to fawn over for Trump in order to oppose election fraud of this scale.
Saying that I regret that Counter Currents doesn’t call this election fraud more explicitly as what it is: another color revolution and a coup d’etat. I don’t believe there’s any reason for fears of alienating moderates or conservatives by being too assertive about this topic if this is the reason. Quite the contrary actually. In my eyes the danger to act like and become a stereotypical cuckservative is much bigger.
@mod(s) I’m sorry for the inconvenience, but please publish only this (corrected) comment and not the two I posted before, thank you!
Part of my awakening to racial realities and the, for lack of a better term, global scene, was 9/11, the Gates of Vienna website, and its contributors Fjordman, Thomas Bertonneau, and Taikuan Seiyo (forgive any misspellings).
I am not a boomer or financially well off, but this is what it took for me to wake up, in addition to facing my own moral and philosophical failings. The latter spurred in part by a well-respected professor telling me I was engaged in “moral cowardice” when critiquing my writings.
I agree with the strategy of appealing to those in positions of social and financial power, but the white boomer, of the left or the center-right, is unreliable at best. If, as a previous commenter suggested, they cannot or will not face their active or passive role in the current situation as it exists in America, they will be useless to the long term goals of this movement.
A person who is incapable of admitting to being self-deceived, or even just deceived, will revert to their baseline behaviors as soon as the external misery lets up, even in the slightest.
In short, the feeling of being betrayed by one’s favorite news broadcasts is not sufficient impetus for belief in a white ethnostate.
[T]he white boomer, of the left or the center-right, is unreliable at best. If…they cannot or will not face their active or passive role in the current situation as it exists in America, they will be useless to the long term goals of this movement.
Reliable for what? Street marches or coughing up a monthly check?
As being unwilling or unable to ‘face’ their ‘role’ in the ‘current situation’, is this really the best attitude to take to get the rest of our people to join us in White Nationalism?
Does anyone think positioning White Nationalism as ‘the other struggle-session movement’ is a selling-point for White Nationalism?
White Nationalism is about White unity and White salvation. Maybe there simply isn’t a lot of room for recrimination — or even much discrimination — in the process.
If you’re White and you agree that Whites — and only Whites — should rule over Whites, then you’re in the Big White Tent of White Nationalism.
Reject resentment. Embrace acceptance.
Let a thousand White ethnostates bloom to make room for the Many Ways of Whiteness.
I consider any individual White or White family that had to take white flight as part of the Ethnostate.
I understand the pitfalls of purity spiralling when trying to get ethnonationalism a foothold in the mainstream.
Yet, when we are hemmed in on all sides in this battle, and phrases like “big tent” are thrown about and weak tea finger-wagging against discrimination and platitudes for acceptance and things blooming come into view, I think a weakness has been exposed that can be exploited by the enemy.
Maybe I am saying that in this war of ideas we are battling a subtle foe and therefore every White man is not my brother?
Yes. The terrible weakness of making people feel welcome into a movement that is considered the height of villainy and backwardness by The Powers That Be. At the most fundamental level — the genetic level — we need every strand of White DNA we can get access to. Does that mean that every White person will have political power? It does not. We can discriminate on viewpoint when Whites have the power to make such discrimination pragmatically useful. Right now, that’s not the case and I don’t think it’s going to be the case for some time.
White Nationalists need to accept that the price of admission to the White Ethnostates is being White. That’s it. Just. Being. White.
I know that people with political and other prior committements want White Nationalism to be based on White Plus: White Plus heterosexual, White Plus anti-Stattist. White Plus anti-Feminist. And on and on and on.
Racial politics is a different kind of politics.
At its most fundamental you have to accept that race is more important than anything else.
It doesn’t mean that we ignore everything else that is true about a person, only that race comes first.
All of the other ‘issues’ that people want to saddle onto White Nationalism are distractions from the central task of making White people of all kinds feel welcome to take up the cause of securing the existence of our people and a future for White children.
Right now, White people all over the West are waking up to the fact that they are on their way to become a despised minority in the lands of their ancestors. This is a hard truth to which to adapt.
White Nationalists are, really, the only people who have any kind of pragmatic and intelligent response to this situation.
It would be a shame if we allowed the prejudices of ever prior failed ‘White’ politics to interfere with White people coming to White Nationalism.
It really would.
My local conservative talk-show host is a Boomer conservative. His most egregious fault lies in his denial regarding America’s collapse. He thinks conservatives will win “the war” eventually, because liberals are the bad guys, and good always triumphs over evil. I find this worldview to be very naive.
He spends every show throwing “racist Whites” under the bus, thinks everything will be fine as long as people vote Republican, and idolizes Ronald Reagan, despite the fact Ronald Regaen delivered California, forever, to the Democrats with his amnesty BS.
I don’t have anything personal against Boomers. I live in a rural area with Boomers, and most don’t fit the Boomer stereotype, but we live in different worlds. I was born in 1985. I have a far more cynical view of the world than most of my Boomer neighbors.
Despite the dumpster fire that was 2020, they still believe the same things as the aforementioned talk-show host. I believe the old adage regarding insanity:
“Insanity can be defined as doing the same thing over again, yet expecting different results.”
Just don’t expect too much. The older people get, the less likely they are to change their ways. As for homosexuality, it is a sexual disorder to be treated medically, not encouraged, imo.
I’m sick of all this crap about “Boomers.” We NEED EVERY WHITE VOICE.
Tucker is from the upper middle class. I’m sure he looks down on people who like Nascar and who work on farms and in the trades as much as Bill Kristol, Hillary or Chucky Cheez. But that’s cool. He comes further than anyone else; he is talking about race replacement and critical theory. Like Trump he pushes back.
Broadcast journalism is like any other product in that it has a specific demographic target. The original target was the WW2 Gen, but as they died off the neocohen Silents and Boomers filled the ranks. But now as the Boomers are going to that all you can eat Chinese Buffet in the sky, there aren’t many baby busters or millenials who are into TV. So Fox has to change the product to draw in viewers from the other channels. Soon they will bring in faggots gayer than Sheperd Smith, as well as enraged negroes and sanctimonious lesbians.
As a UK Boomer myself I went to punk venues like the Roxy (in Covent Garden) and the Vortex (in Soho). I also went to Sham 69’s last-ever performance in 1979 at the Rainbow Theatre in Finsbury Park, which was broken up by white-power skinheads rushing the stage.
Get this : The Law Commission in the UK has recently called for reforms to hate-crime and hate-speech laws to protect vulnerable groups, including ‘alternative subcultures like punks’.
If today’s punks need state protection they aren’t the same don’t-give-a-fuck types I remember.

Sidney Powell appeared on Maria Bartolomo’s Fox show to present to Fox viewers an idea of of what she’ll be bringing before the courts, i.e. “The Kraken”, so whatever short circuited her appearance on Tucker’s show may have nothing whatsoever to do with divulging evidence and is probably personal. She thus has nothing against some Fox hosts. She did, however, say publicly that she sent Tucker statistical data from these voting machines that put out ludicrously lopsided outcomes for Biden, with the intention of getting help from Tucker. Who knows what happened after that, but attacking Tucker for jumping ship is moronic. He’s still going after the left with vitriol, every night. Tucker has gone as far as possible in the past 4 years, on a mainstream news outlet, to push Boomers in particular, in the right direction and has advocated for our issues, including immigration reduction on a large scale or an outright moratorium.
“….homosexuals, another demographic that the Right would be foolish to alienate.” Well, sort of, but the militant homosexual LGBTetc.etc. movement is pure poison – one of the elite regiments in the enemy’s army of subversion, despair, and death for our European cultures. Militant sexual deviance is a direct assault on the mental and physical health of children. Christians and non-Christians, and Boomers and Zoomers, ought to be able to agree on this.
Homosexuals in our movement voted for Trump and many are supporting our White community financially because of disposable income.
The lifestyle of other people has no bearing on my marriage or my sexuality.
I welcome any friend/ally in this war. There’s good and bad in every community. Let me tell you I know of many men my age who cheat on their wives, steal and abuse them.
If we gonna “clean house” then I suggest start with our own. Let’s not forget all the White scum bags who con people out of money.
“The lifestyle of other people has no bearing on my marriage or my sexuality.”
But it does on society, on civilizational norms, on free speech, and on all of us through the normalization of the abnormal and the societal demoralization that such acts propogate.
Daily propaganda also impacts us all with notions that degenerate behaviour is now normal and what was normal is now hateful. For example, if a human being with a penis and testes says he’s a woman, YOU are the one with a mental defect if you disagree.
Also, what about your kids? The disease of LGBTism has a massive bearing on young minds through compulsory brainwashing in and out of schools. Plus, it’s all a precursor to legalized pedophilia.
“Newsmax, a conservative news outlet endorsed by Trump.”
Literally the most popular “Christian Zionist” publication in history. The religious articles written by Newsmax founder Joseph Farrah – if taken at face value – are flabbergasting.
It’s less ridiculous to believe in, say, Bigfoot, than what Farrah has claimed to believe in Newsmax. Literally that “Muslim Iran” will attack Israel – and America – then Jesus will return – dressed like an orthodox Jew rabbi – and the entire world will become “Messianic Jews.”
The quote I remember is, “people will be surprised just how Jewish will be daily life in the Millennial Kingdom.” Farrah also claimed that Jesus will “rebuild” the “Jewish Temple” and start sacrificing animals, which will annoy the PETA types, presumably, a stand in for “libtards.”
These Farrah articles are not parody but are meant to be taken seriously.
That Donald Trump is supporting someone who is either a complete mentally ill nutjob, or a shameless grifter, does not speak well of Trump.
Great article.
Unrelated but I thought it was along the same line of thinking.
Another demographic/segment of society we should look to share our message with are industries under attack from the UN and climate change cult.
Due to the UN agenda 30, modern ‘environmentalism’ and the global reset there are going to be some western industries that are targeted for reduction/extinction by the globalists.
Oil, coal and gas are just some examples. Animal farming is also under attack.
These industries contain high quality talent, vital resources, money and experience.
These industries also contain a disproportionately high % of white and/or “right leaning” people.
Executives and workers from these industries are going to be looking for answers as their livelihoods come under attack in the form of extra taxes, regulations, and in some cases their products being gradually phased out (eg. fake meat to replace real meat).
We need to be there to explain who is behind the attacks on their way of life and income stream.
What do you think.
