The Counter-Currents 2020 FundraiserA New Matching Grant Offer
Greg JohnsonCounter-Currents is trying to raise $150,000 this year. Thus far, we have received 628 donations totaling $80,685.66, for which we are enormously grateful. Thus we are more than halfway there! We will keep the fundraiser going as long as needed but the ultimate deadline is the end of the year, less than four months away.
To help us reach our goal, one of our loyal readers has offered a matching grant of $5,000. That means that the next $5,000 donated will be doubled. Our benefactor asked me to share a message with you. She said, “This is my fist raised against Black Lives Matter.” Counter-Currents is her voice, and your voice too. That’s why it is vital to keep us in the fight.
As multiculturalism fails in America and around the white world, our message is more relevant than ever, which is reflected in our web traffic.
Currently the Counter-Currents Alexa global website rank is 187,161. Three months ago it was 359,098 — which means a jump of more than 170,000!
In August, we had more than 320,000 unique visitors.
America is burning and bleeding because of the consequences of bad ideas. And people are searching for alternatives, which leads them to Counter-Currents. The best way to fight bad ideas is to promote better ideas, and Counter-Currents is the flagship journal of the anti-egalitarian, identitarian Right.
This year, we are facing an even tougher battle, because Counter-Currents has been politically blacklisted from the entire credit card industry. We take this as a compliment. The Nation and other publications of the Left have never faced this kind of censorship from the plutocracy, and that speaks volumes. But fighting white genocide is going to require a lot more than inconvenience. So please, look into the other ways you can help, which I have listed below.
Counter-Currents used to derive about half of our income from book sales. But in 2019, Counter-Currents was de-platformed from 80% of the global book market by Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble. We take this as a compliment too.
In the Fall of 2018, my book The White Nationalist Manifesto was vying with Francis Fukuyama’s Identity — a lame critique of white identity politics — for the top slot in Amazon’s political philosophy and nationalism categories. This frightened the Left, because in a fair debate, they know they can’t win. (My critique of Fukuyama’s book is here, here, and here. Fukuyama still has not responded to The White Nationalist Manifesto.)
Thus, in February of 2019, Amazon unrolled a new campaign of censorship against White Nationalist ideas. The first two books they banned were The White Nationalist Manifesto and Jared Taylor’s White Identity. Eventually, all Counter-Currents books were banned, and in a truly Orwellian turn, Amazon did more than stop selling our books; they also deleted many of their product pages, including customer reviews, so it was as if the books had never been published.
But it is not all a tale of woe. Again, despite unprecedented censorship and de-platforming, Counter-Currents has been steadily growing. We need your help to maintain the momentum.
If you have not yet donated to Counter-Currents, there’s never been a better time.
One last thing. Before de-platforming, Counter-Currents had a populist strategy of supporting ourselves with book purchases and small donations from many different individuals. Our enemies correctly calculated that kicking us off PayPal and blacklisting us from credit card processors would eliminate a lot of our less committed supporters, simply by making it inconvenient to donate or buy our products. They were correct.
We are still a populist journal, but we have had to adopt a more elitist strategy. To survive, we need to cultivate larger donations from a smaller number of highly committed and relatively wealthy supporters. If that describes you, please reach out to me at [email protected].
One way such individuals can help is by sponsoring matching grants. Almost one-third of what we have raised this year comes from a single matching grant os 20,000 euros.
This is how you can help:
Credit Cards
Currently, we are unable to take credit card donations except through Entropy. Entropy is a site that collects “paid chat” or “superchat” donations for live streamers. But they can take donations any time.
Just go to our Entropy page and select “send paid chat.” Entropy allows you to donate any amount from $3 and up. (You can make a donation, even when Entropy says that we are not currently livestreaming.)
If you want to leave a question or comment, they will be read and discussed on the next Counter-Currents Radio livestream, which air on Sundays noon PST/3pm EST on DLive: https://dlive.tv/Counter-Currents
Money Transfers
If your bank does free money transfers to other banks in the US, please contact [email protected].
Gift Cards
Gift cards are a useful way to make donations. Gift cards are available with all the major credit cards as well as from major retailers. You can either send gift cards as donations (either electronically or through the mail) or you can use them to make donations. If you can find a place that sells gift cards for cash, they are as anonymous as sending cash and much safer.
Checks and Money Orders
Sometimes the old ways are best. The least “de-platformable” way to send donations to Counter-Currents is to put a check or money order in the mail. Simply print and complete the Word or PDF donation form and mail it to:
Counter-Currents Publishing, Ltd.
P.O. Box 22638
San Francisco, CA 94122
USA
[email protected]
Thank you, Boomers, for keeping your checkbooks, envelopes, and stamps. There are youngsters reading this site who have never written a check or put a letter in the mail.
Bill Payment Services
If you wish to make monthly donations by mail, see if your bank has a bill payment service. Then all you need to do is set up a monthly check to be dispatched by mail to our PO box. This check can be made out to Counter-Currents or to Greg Johnson. After the initial bother of setting it up, you never have to think about it again.
Crypto-Currencies
In addition to old-fashioned paper donations, those new-fangled crypto-currencies are a good way to circumvent censorious credit card corporations.

- Click here for a basic primer on how to get started using crypto. Do not, however, use COINBASE. COINBASE will not allow you to send money to Counter-Currents. (Yes, it is that bad.)
The Counter-Currents Foundation
Note: Donations to Counter-Currents Publishing are not tax-deductible. We do, however, have a 501c3 tax-exempt educational corporation called The Counter-Currents Foundation. If you want to make a tax-deductible gift, please email Greg Johnson at [email protected]. You can send donations by mail to:
The Counter-Currents Foundation
P.O. Box 22638
San Francisco, CA 94122

Remember Us in Your Will
Finally, we would like to broach a very delicate topic: your will. If you are planning your estate, please think about how you can continue helping the cause even after you are gone. The essay “Majority Estate Planning” contains many helpful suggestions.
Remember: those who fight for the Golden Age live in it today.
