Counter-Currents is mostly an online community, but we were planning a major in-real-life party in New York to celebrate our 10th birthday, which is today, Thursday, June 11. But we didn’t foresee the Globalvirus, much less widespread “urban” unrest. So today’s party will be a virtual one, as in the past.
The comment thread below will serve as our birthday Guest Book. Mark the occasion by leaving a comment below or on other birthday-related threads. Yes, this is a transparent exercise in fishing for compliments, but since I admit it openly, I can hardly be accused of cynicism.
Thanks for 10 great years!
Greg Johnson

Happy Birthday, Counter-Currents!
Here’s to another decennia!
Happy Birthday, Counter-Currents.
Keep publishing important books.
I’m forever grateful that you introduced me to the orations of Jonathon Bowden, PBUH.
I’ve not been reading CC for the entire 10 years, but for the last 5, CC has been a go-to resource for me in my journey toward white advocacy and dissident politics. I thank you for your steadfast courage in the face of a fierce and powerful enemy.
I can’t say enough good about counter currents, other than it has to be one of the best three dissident sites on the web. I wrote this pledge in honor of Greg Johnson and the west coast new right people:
Pledge to the Flag of Cascadia
(The hoped for white republic)
Hail fair flag of Cascadia!
Your white shines over our new homeland!
Not white of abashed surrender, but
Of unsullied virtue to fight and stand!
Our fathers fought for this wider realm.
They raised an Asgard from a wild.
Courage and art both played a part
In building this beacon to the world!
Alas, they were deceived in time’s
Perplexing maze, wishing to share,
Whereas the Loki within sought their doom
For the fount of their works he does not care.
So let’s pledge us to a new flag!
Though your form we’re yet to see.
We salute you Cascadian flag!
Our loyal hearts we pledge to thee!
Our youths so strong and maidens lush,
We’ll restore to pride of place!
They’ll learn their true legacies, they
Of gallant cheek and peerless face!
Will Pharaoh let us leave his realm?
He knows he’s nothing without us!
The toughest road is to make the dream,
And then we must defend it!
We stand ready for the trials! What
Will be our Colonel Jackson’s name?
What Dolly Madison might save
Greg Johnson’s portrait from the flame?
We look both fore and back with pride—
The psychic prison is now shattered!
We pledge our lives to the white flag!
Made sisters and brothers in work that mattered.
But if the pledge is not fulfilled,
And vanished like smoke on the wind—
Our honor is we kept the pact,
With forefathers, progeny, and kin!
This is hilarious. Thanks, I am honored.
I didn’t mean it to be funny. I thought it was awesome.
That too
The Dolly Madison line is objectively funny.
Refers to when dolley Madison rescued Washington’s portrait from the White House before the British burned it down in the war of 1812
Thank you to Counter-Currents for 10 years of white advocacy. It is a tremendous resource for dissident Right intellectuals. The fact that it has been so aggressively targeted for deplatforming proves that its enemies recognize what an effective metapolitical weapon it is.
Happy B-Day to the Counter-Currents crew. I’ve been around for most of the decade and am very appreciative for the platform of info and discussion.
Happy 10th birthday!
Hi Greg. Thank you for all the wonderful insightful work over the last decade.
Sections of the movement have not been healthy recently and have clearly been doing more harm that good, but Counter Currents has remained solid with the important issues and I am very grateful for that.
And it’s amazing the people I didn’t even know existed until I read Counter-Currents: Johnathon Bowden, Savitri Devi, Roger Scruton, many others.
Recently the forces of darkness have really surged. It’s the same tired old lies we have heard before again and again, but it’s been more sticky this time, more damaging, more organized, more demanding and seems to have pulled more people into it. Reality itself is crumbling around us, and our current political leaders have no ability to fight what is happening.
More than ever we need to support vital resources like Counter Currents and wishing you even more success for the next ten years.
Happy 10 years, Counter Currents. Keep up the good work, only the best writing on the internet today!
God bless Counter-Currents and Greg Johnson!
My best wishes to this tenth anniversary as well.
Progress of CC has been steady, and as each crisis that has hit us showed, has brought an especially strong surge of visitors. CC represents latent general ideas that have barely been promoted or defended in times of relative economic security but rather displaced in the majority mind by what has been systematically and persistently injected into the conceptual matrix by “leading opinion makers” as the meaning of liberty, progress, justice, prosperity, peace, a future worth looking forward to. The tenser the times, the more awake the general spirit becomes to time-proven ideas which have always motivated the human endeavor.
All growth is initially slow, but following the exponential law, will pick up speed. That’s why this is a beginning which gives every reason to expect a continuous, increasing growth.
Congratulations to this first decade of success!
Thank you, Counter-Currents. The work done here is indispensable.
Thanks very much for all you do. Leaders are slowly emerging.
Happy birthday Counter-Currents! In my book, you’re now old enough to pick up smoking.
I´m happy to take the occasion for a feedback: I´m very grateful for counter-currents. I read it regularly, the level is very nice, informative yet not too detailed as e.g. TOO, i.e. easy enough to read to make for a nice evening read which I often enjoy doing. The subjects vary very widely, thus always being interesting and educating, often enough amusing, witty and very entertaining (underlined by the pleasant visual presentation, these are aspects not to be negletcted).
I do have minor issues with counter-currents because I´m really quite libertarian; but I made the thought-experiment: could there be a libertarian pro-white webzine, and I found that that´s just not so easy to do. That thought-experiment made it clear to me what Greg Johnson actually does, the extreme commitment that that demands: to persist many years, against scandalous, revolting oppression, the war and treason against Whites on all and any levels, to continuously maintain the same high quality, plus building up real-life structures, and all the other pro-white activities, i.e. podcasts etc. And all that in the cesspool that the “right-wing” is, by which I´m solidly displeased. So I have to estimate this counter-currents project very highly.
I´m just thankful that with counter-currents, there is a constantly ongoing working for the White cause, the education, and organizing, of people, a most highclass poster child for the White cause. This is all great and indispensable work, and therefore: thank you, Greg Johnson.
Thank you, Counter-Currents, for all the great writing and thinking to which you’ve introduced me; and for remaining unerringly on the side of White people. We need it. Nikandros earlier used the word ‘indispensable’. It is apt.
Happy Birthday!
Is this available anywhere as a recording? I seem to have missed it. Damn.
