I’ll skip 11:44. It’s just the flu, bro.

The worse the flu, both in terms of individual severity and total number of deaths, the weaker the population is. That poor virus doesn’t cause anything in any meaningful sense, it’s a messenger, a marker. Same as the Black Death – read up on the way people were living. It is a miracle that there was anybody left after nature took its logical course. Back then, they were immersed in obvious physical filth and poor diet and drinking water; today, it’s harder to see that our daily lives are no better. Our “public health” experts are just more efficient at hiding the symptoms of our deep sickness.

Still, today, it’s all about “transmission” of some bacteria or virus, as if we, sweet innocents, one way or another never provided any welcoming terrain for these substances. There’s always some invisible “enemy” out there to get us – that is the idea that our betters have been promoting far back as I can remember and a great deal longer than that.

@Greg. We ARE a shit hole country underneath our apparently clean lives. Time to quit blaming viruses for that. I am not going to lose sleep if lots of people are happy to be endlessly sanitizing their hands, wearing face diapers and staying indoors 24/7 instead of doing what it takes to promote their own and their children’s overall health.

If SARS 2 is even less than just the flu Bro, why do you think Trump is banging his arm with the malaria drug?

Interesting answers to the “million dollar question” about the Viking and Germanic warrior spirit. What you said about our conscientiousness and moral communities helps to explain why the Germanic countries are so guilt-ridden today.

Germany feel guilty for the Holocaust, Britain for its colonialism, America for its slavery, South Africa for its apartheid, and Sweden for its racial biology. And the ruling elites of these countries try to atone for these historical “sins” by favouring mass immigration and multiculturalism. As far as I can see there is no real equivalent to this in southern or eastern Europe.

But, as you said, the current dominant ideology is not traditional and can soon be replaced by more nationalist alternatives, similar to those we had before WWII.

These podcasts are probably the best on the web. Keep up the good work. What is the writers block thing he refers to?

The difference between slaughter of cattle and the whales is that the killing of farm animals is a necessary evil to provide food, whereas the killing of whales is unnecessary. Bambi’s mom but in the water.

Greg often alludes that “some of the best and worst people he has met have been wns.” I find this cryptic remark intriguing. I wish he would elaborate what he means, preferably by providing some character sketches.

    re: Faroe Island culling

I think Frodi’s position here is rather weak. Arguing in favor of tradition simply for tradition’s sake isn’t going to convince anyone. Furthermore it ignores what is moral. The Chinese can claim that their cruel mistreatment of animals must continue because it’s their tradition.

Those who oppose the whale hunt are doing so on moral grounds (essentially arguing the slaughter is inhumane). Frodi recognizes this, and so compares the method of slaughter to that of cows on a farm. This is disingenuous. Cows are stunned and killed instantly with a bolt to the brain. Do the whales lose consciousness and die as quickly? If not, the methods used are not comparable. In fact, it seems the whale slaughter has more in common with kosher or halal slaughter than that which puts beef in our supermarkets.

The most convincing argument for the continuation of the slaughter is that those who engage in it are utterly destitute and require it to feed themselves. This is true of some seal hunts in Alaska, for example. However I doubt the Scandis are so poor and isolated that they can’t find some other way to feed themselves. Therefore arguing for it on economic grounds is another dead end.

All kinds of hunting and fishing involve some stress and suffering for the animals. That’s inevitable.

But, as Frodi said, these whales live their lives in freedom before they are killed. They don’t have to spend their lives in meet factories and endure long transports to the slaughterhouses.

The whale slaughter must also be performed in the most humane and effective way as possible. This makes it very different from halal and kosher slaughter, where the animals have to suffer unnecessarily because of religious traditions.

Personally, I wouldn’t object to people killing animals in a truly traditional manner if they needed to eat them: no modern technology; live the total lifestyle. The Indians (ie Abos) up north have snowmobiles, high power rifles with scopes, GPS, and on and on and on, and then tell us down here that we are hypocrites for criticizing their “traditions”. Never a thank you to Whitey for making this “traditional” life possible.

In any event, the Faroese are no worse than the Japanese and their large scale persecution of fish and sea mammals everywhere. Anybody in this world wants to do something, the first excuse usually is, “It’s our tradition”. So’s living in caves and spending days chasing animals with a spear you built yourself.

This world seems to consist of liberals, who dispense with everything and anything that could be called traditional; and then there’s white identitarians who defend something just because it is (more or less) traditional.

Very rational discussion. Don’t see this so much on WN sites especially since the Bug has arrived. Though I find Trump viscerally difficult to deal with, I did enjoy Greg’s realist perspective on him. I do think Greg went over the credible line when he underplayed Kushner’s critical role. or at least its implications Jared Kushner is there at the border and in Israel, not because he is the son in law at loose ends but because he – the orthodox Zionist Jew – is what those 3 billionaire chosen people – the Casino King and I forget the others – who are Trump’s biggest backers are paying for. Race realism is great but we can’t lose sight of Ethnic realism, huh? Otherwise I really enjoyed and needed this discussion

‘The Sweden Democrats are pathetic, but when they entered parliament, everything changed, and suddenly immigration became a legitimate subject of political discussion.’

    Also Fróði:
‘Getting involved in politics is futile, we need more movie reviews!’

As for charming Faroe Islands folk traditions – my country is kosher meat capital of Europe, and Dear Leader spends my taxes on subsidizing (((slaughterhouses)))… so I’ll refrain from criticizing my fellow white people and just cower in shame.

Yes, the kosher slaughter is really a shame for Hungary. But this unnessesary cruelty to animals is legal in most White countries, so they aren’t much better.

Kosher and halal slaughter is, however, illegal in the Scandinavian countries Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Iceland, as well as in Slovenia, Belgium, Switzerland, Australia, and New Zealand.

The problem is that the import of kosher and halal meat is still legal in these countries that have banned the slaughter, and that’s a shame too.
