It begs the question how honest could he talk during interviews about his inner thoughts. One had to be careful what to say as a German of the war generation. I met some veterans in South Africa. In South Africa they did not need to be politically correct. South Africa was tolerant in this respect. They talked quite a different language. They did not need to fear defamation and persecution. Some of them were quite aware already in the 1970’s that the bigger plan was a building of a hostile one world government. One that they opposed and fought against during the war.
