Winter is coming for white advocacy. We must be industrious ants, building up capital and bracing ourselves for further attacks and deplatforming. But we need to build new institutions, an integrated electronic ethnostate offering everything from domain registration to webhosting to DDOS protection to mailing list management — all controlled by our movement. I have told people several times that the national socialism and KKK symbols are just plain stupid. Whether or not you are an actual natsoc, it does not help to bring the swastika flag and your “cool” fashy gear. No matter how much you think “Hitler did nothing wrong” You look like an ignorant asshole to the average person. It is almost like these people don’t want “normies” to join white nationalism.

This is the kind of straw man argumentation and childish ranting that leads to retarded, self-defeating WN 1.0 nonsense.
Jared Taylor has done positive things for our movement for decades.
Charlottesville, Gainesville, Shelbyville are net negatives.
I would prefer that people do nothing than do things that harm us.

Activism isn’t easy and getting large actions right is a monumental task. Even activist groups that have been going for a decades make mistakes. The Alt-Right doesn’t have the institutional knowledge to do large demonstrations and other complex forms of street activism. Building this institutional experience will take time and mistakes will be made.
The Alt-Right needs to start small and work its way up. Do small things such as postering or handing out fliers at a mall for 20 minutes with a group of friends. Build routines, get to know each other and figure out what works. Once you have experienced activists and routines you can start doing larger events.
Activism does play an important role. It helps bring people into the movement irl, it definitely helps build community, it helps us spread our message and most importantly it gets our members active and involved.
When it comes to optics just be yourself. You are not a German coming home from WWI so stop pretending to be one. You are not Ronald Reagan or a confederate soldier so stop pretending to be one. Don’t put on a costume, instead you should be and use the optics that come naturally to you while obviously trying to show the best side of you.
Two additional points that came to mind since recording the interview.
1. Mike Enoch, Richard Spencer, and Identity Europa did pull off a successful, identitarian-style action in Charlottesville in October, aka “Charlottesville 3.0”
2. But an even more successful action — brilliant, actually — was the “It’s Okay To Be White” campaign over Halloween on college and high school campuses around the US and Canada. It achieved national news coverage at bare minimal cost, both financially as well as in terms of physical risk. Not to mention viewing enjoyment reminiscent of Fight Club‘s Project Mayhem. Except real.

I have listened to this show several times. I appreciate it tremendously. The discussion on strategy and tactics is really needed, especially as many shy away from it or even discourage it. I hope that many of the points made during the show will also make it to an essay.
