If you would like to help Counter-Currents fight back from deplatforming attacks, please consider making a donation. There are several ways to do so.
First, you can use a credit card.
Note: Credit card numbers are not stored on our server, and all connections are secure and encrypted.
Second, you can use Hatreon.
“Hatreon” is like Patreon but for the “haters” who are being purged from Patreon as part of the vast ongoing deplatforming of white advocates and dissident Rightists. Hatreon helps creative dissidents enjoy steady, predictable incomes from patrons who make monthly pledges of support. Just go to my Hatreon profile page and make a pledge. (Use the invite code BNIHVDDYXEHW.)
Hatreon is run by a dissident Rightist like us. Hatreon is highly ethical and takes only a very small percentage of donations to cover their costs. I very much want Hatreon to succeed, so please sign up for an account today. Help Hatreon get off to a strong start — and help Counter-Currents stay in the fight.
Third, Counter-Currents also takes Bitcoin.
Our Bitcoin address is: 1ChE5DZVVZJpv8mnJ3fRrtSDrTikBh7uFL
In the coming weeks, we will begin accepting donations in all digital currencies, and we will publish a tutorial on how you can begin using them.
Finally, you can also mail donations to:
Counter-Currents
PO Box 22638
San Francisco, CA 94122
USA
We are profoundly grateful for the outpouring of generosity from a large number of readers. But we need to hear from all of you. Especially from our monthly donors. Please renew today.
Winter is coming for white advocacy. We must be industrious ants, building up capital and bracing ourselves for further attacks and deplatforming. We can no longer be happy-go-lucky grasshoppers, depending on the kindness and fair play of capitalists. Fear not, we will never quit. But we need to build new institutions, an integrated electronic ethnostate offering everything from domain registration to webhosting to DDOS protection to mailing list management — all controlled by our movement. This is a huge task, and we obviously should have started building it years ago. But when you donate, you are helping us build it today.
Thank you for your loyal readership and generosity.
Greg Johnson

First, the points about Cantwell and the Alt Right are excellent and to the point. Although I would drill deeper into the problem, and consider that there is something fundamentally wrong with (American) racial nationalism, and not just the “all publicity is good publicity” stupidity.
Second, as a Yockey fan (and analyzer of his work), I am indeed rejoicing over all the good material Counter-Currents is planning, re: FPY’s work. In my opinion, the work of Yockey, as well as that of Salter, has been terribly under-rated and ignored compared to the attention and analysis it should have received – and should continue to receive. And of course, I eagerly await Bolton’s Yockey biography.
I think Yockey is becoming more relevant than ever. Time is proving him wise.
Any plans to publish a translation of Solzhenitsyn’s 200 Years Together ???
See http://www.theoccidentalobserver.net/2017/02/20/english-translation-of-alexander-solzhenitsyns-200-years-together/
If we could get permission, we would do it.
A very interesting broadcast.
Greg Johnson made a very apt suggestion to curb immoral and lying journalism: Certify annually.
I have given this a lot of thought but never come up with that idea.
Considering the role of journalism in triggering wars and international tensions, something will have to be done eventually about the immense evil few can do to the world from their writing desk. Responsibility has to be a major virtue for everyone.
I was very happy to hear about the project to re-publishFrancis Yockey Parker’s writings.
I will be on the list for the hard-bound edition.
Counter Currants is an amazingly multi-facetted, productive and creative organization.
“The liberals required an enemy on the Right. All real ones of of importance were beaten down or in quiescence, so in their desperation they invented McCarthy and McCarthyism. …they were facing the most painful of all situations for liberal intellectuals – that of discovering themselves to be, though subjectively committed to non-conformism, conformist members of a virtually one hundred percent conforming community.” – James Burnham, Suicide of the West, chapter XI
The psychological-political ramifications of Charlottesville ’17 need to be analyzed more fully:
* Is the System so weak that it went into mass hysteria over a thousand or so Alt Righters practicing freedom of assembly in a college town?
* Is the Alt Right so powerful that its transition from online to the realworld triggered said mass hysteria, not to mention the clumsy acts of repression which followed?
Objectively speaking, the Alt Right has been largely an online phenomenon, with little in the way of “street” presence or backing from politicians, corporations, universities and all the rest of the support infrastructure for the Left. Why then has the System been taking the Alt Right so seriously, whether Hillary Clinton denouncing a cartoon frog, or the over-reaction to Charlottesville? Could any crack in the armor of liberal conformity, any Black Swan event. cascade to shatter the entire edifice?
It says something that even with the mass media banging the drum about Neo-Nazi-KKK-Tiki-Torch-Supremacists, and the big Internet companies torpedoing dissident virtual platforms, and assorted street mobs going bonkers, and cuckservatives cucking, and etc., the Alt Right is still pushing forward, perhaps another triumph for de-centralized network operations over a top heavy System, pace information warfare theory.
Some consideration is needed for which echelon is reacting. I know a number of outer party liberals who have gone over the deep end in the wake of Unite the Right. They apparently believe that an army of Neo-Whatevers did march on Charlottesville only to be stopped by a heroic last ditch stand of black masked thugs and screaming cat ladies. There have been moral panics like this before in America. We might cite the obsession with witch hunts ala The Crucible, but this time around it is liberals who are foaming at their collective mouths and sacrificing statues to appease strange gods.
But as Burnham points out, there is often a deeper psychology at work. Liberals – and we have to use that term very broadly these decadent days – define themselves in opposition to the Right. Since 1945, they have pumped themselves up about the Third Reich, long after the Fall of Berlin. Yet every year the threat of Brownshirts and panzer divisions seems to grow stronger. Thus the appearance of a single National Socialist flag amidst some Spencer haircuts was enough to set them off in panic.
We can not discount that the System’s inner party, the hostile elites, has a fully rational appreciation of the situation, and are promoting the hysteria for their own calculated ends.
All this can be exploited by the Alt Right by leveraging the coverage. Given the nature of the Internet and social media, minor incidents can amplify into major infowar actions, cascading from node to node, monitor to monitor. It just may be possible to maneuver the System into full meltdown, neutralizing their ability to act.
It ain’t over yet.
Time to make non-conformity cool again.
R. Moreland:
Could you very briefly define what “pace warfare theory” is?
Your last sentence:
“Time to make non-conformity cool again” encapsulated the whole problem of the presence.
A fearful conformity prevents a normal expression of will and healthy instincts.
Not, that such “normality” would automatically lead to a powerful force of the folkish movement, but it would dry up the reservoir of dull-witted demonstrators who at any call to defend the present ideological drive in western democracy, and all its attendant consequences, including their own extinction as a people -surely an anthropologically unheard-of, psychologically inhuman and absurd aim- answer with violence, indignation and hyper moralistic shouting scenes.
One can hear the psychological emergency in the tone of voice and cadence of speech that the immediate allies of the Antifa -those who dare to speak with the mask off- are not acting as normal human beings but as whipped up pawns in big game of propaganda and mass manipulation.
They are acting as members of a herd. If enough leave the herd, its power will be broken. The candle light vigils and angry, seething mobs will disappear.
Sadly, it seems that Bolton’s short work on James Madole is not longer in print. Thus, the only current source material on Madole and the National Renaissance Party is Coogan’s work.
Also, while the idea of annually certifying journalists is a good idea in theory, it depends of course who is doing the certifying.
I can’t help notice that in those business and academic institutions that have annual evaluations of employee performance, while the lower level people are evaluated by their superiors and/or by customers, the superiors – if they are evaluated at all – are evaluated (with kid gloves) by other superiors. “We’re all doing a great job” as the company goes bankrupt (CEO pay raises optional). Likewise, lying leftist journalists would “certify” each other as “doing a great job” and any rare honest journalist would be labeled as “peddling fake news.”
There is a lot of material on Madole in FBI files that are online, under the Ernie Lazar collection:
https://archive.org/details/lazarfoia?and%5B%5D=subject%3A%22federal%20bureau%22
Someone is writing a Madole biography although i do not know details. The NRP was often an odd outfit even among odd outfits, and was used to get across ideas by people such as Yockey and Weiss. The FBI and ADL seemed to be interested in an otherwise ineffectual group because of contacts with Arabs.
Thank you Mr. Bolton for that information.
Different strategies, aesthetics and levels of radicalism are needed to achieve different goals and to reach different audiences. The radical troll culture has been proven to give us the greatest reach of any tactic. They base their work on humor and shocking the normies. This is great to get young people on board. Humor doesn’t work if it isn’t edgy. Trump wanted to get millions of votes, he therefore had to be very restrained and mild and adopt a mainstream republican image to a certain degree. Counter-currents aims to be an intellectual voice and therefor has to be honest and serious which puts it between the shock value right of 4chan and the cucked message of Trumpists.
These different camps are needed and shouldn’t be seen as enemies. They are just different means to the same goal. However they shouldn’t be mixed. TRS isn’t at all a suitable concept for an activist movement or a political campaign. A good activist group will not be as good at making parody videos as TRS.
American nationalists have done a fantastic job at producing humor and entertainment but not a great job when it comes to activism and and political organizing. It has gone so far that the comedians are trying to fill the void where there should be activist groups.
What is needed is a strong activist movement that isn’t Trumpist and that isn’t 4chan. It needs its own aesthetic and style. Youtube entertainers shouldn’t be invited.
In Europe we have the same situation. Front national acts cucky to get votes but many of their members love what more radical groups do and listen to music that the party officially considers to be very Haram. Street activists call FN cucks yet vote for them and try to support them under the table. They officially strongly oppose the gas chamber jokes even though they all listen to the podcasts when they are alone. The nazi musicians call everyone cucks even though it is those cucks that buy their music and even though they are always very happy to meet these supposed cucks when they bump into them on the street.
American nationalists have done a fantastic job at producing humor and entertainment but not a great job when it comes to activism and and political organizing.
This is so.
To create a realworld organization you need a number of things. Chief among these is money ($!). You need money to pay a cadre of professional activists, to set up an office, to hire lawyers to handle any number of legal issues, to provide support for people who get fired for their activism, to conduct media operations, to give scholarships to White Nationalist students.
The Left has the advantage of being financed by any number of corporate foundations and international financiers, as well as what taxpayer moneys end up in their bank accounts.
Some ideas for financing:
* Crowd funding
* Direct mail marketing
* Sympathetic conservative/rightist/civic nationalist foundations
* Allying with online Alt personalities who are bringing in large revenues
With Trump in the White House, there might be a (small) chance of getting some of the funding which has gone to to non-White activist groups in the past. Equal opportunity and all that sort of thing.
Also, I’m not sure of the laws on this one, but what about forming a Nationalist-International, a coalition of nationalist groups worldwide for mutual support and funding?
Regarding Francis Parker Yockey, it might be worth looking at the influence of Egon Friedell and André Siegfried upon his thought.
The chapter on Freudianism in Imperium definitely paraphrases Friedell’s discussion of psychoanalysis in A Cultural History of the Western World.
I don’t know to what extent Yockey was influenced by Siegfried’s book, America Comes of Age: A French Analysis, but he was definitely acquainted with it, for he wrote in Imperium: “And so, by 1928, the French writer on historical and world-political topics, André Siegfried, could say that New York City had a Semitic countenance.” (Yockey would extend this assessment to America as a whole, concluding his essay “The Destiny of America” with the line, “Thus America was given a Semitic countenance.”)
I believe that Julius Evola cited the French edition of Siegfried’s work in Revolt Against the Modern World concerning standardization in America, something Yockey commented on in Imperium.
Bene
It appears the MSM is doing the same thing for that Heyer woman that they did for Trayvon Martin; use of an earlier photo that makes them look more (physically) appealing. She looked extremely overweight here but the usual picture of her must be from her earlier years. It’s shallow and superficial but that is the way most people are, so that’s why they do it.
Same as when the MSM used a 12yr old photo for the thug Martin when his 17 yr old “gangsta”, pot smoking social media photos.
The following article, from the Occidental Quarterly, is available on-line. Free. All one has to do is search for the title: “Concealed Influence: Francis Parker Yockey’s Plagiarism of Carl Schmitt”. The author is the Schmitt scholar that Johnson mentions in the pod-cast, while discussing the forthcoming annotated version of Imperium. That is, Sebastian Linderhof.
The article is an excellent introduction to Schmitt’s thought which Yockey copied because, as artists say, “theft is the highest form of flattery”. Yockey was, above all else, an artist. A little theft doesn’t diminish his legacy.
