Greg’s comment that the Alt Right brand is finished, and something else will arise – obviously, I agree; I’ve been saying as much for a long time. However, I don’t think Hailgate has anything to do with it. The Alt Right brand was stupid from its very beginning.
Based on Greg’s comments – the Bolton biography of Yockey is done? Or will soon be done?
Suggestion one: it would be helpful if all your books will be available on Amazon (assuming they are not censoring your material).
Suggestion two: eventually put the Yockey slideshow online (a powerpoint?).
Yockey always requires more attention and more study.

I think we should not throw the baby out with the bathwater quite yet…
I actually believe the opposite is true, namely, that the Alt Right label/brand will only increase in relevance/value in the years and decades to come. I think the establishment wants the Alt Right label/brand to disappear and to be finished, because it is such a vague term and therefore it is hard for them to slander/discredit it. The Alt Right is their kryptonite.
Vagueness can be a great asset.
I think it would not be sensible and wise to abandon the “Alt Right” label/brand at this time. Many, especially younger men, are and have heavily invested in it, some figuratively and some maybe even literally all of their life savings. Therefore they strongly identify with and are extremely loyal to the brand, come hell or high water.
Brand loyalty is priceless.
These young men should not be betrayed/scammed, abandoned and/or have to fend for themselves. They deserve better!
“However, there’s another way of looking at this. Granted, the Alt Right “brand” is largely empty, aside from the fact that it negates the conservative mainstream. But meaning, like nature, abhors a vacuum. So someone will eventually endow the Alternative Right with a positive content. So it might as well be me.
This content will, to a great extent, be socially constructed. Meaning that people can try to offer any definition they want, but unless it is widely accepted by others, it does not matter. Thus, for a proposed meaning to stick, it must either come from someone relatively authoritative, or it must be immediately compelling, or both.
My definition meets both criteria, so here goes: the Alternative Right means White Nationalism — or it means nothing at all.
[…]
But we also need to remember that the Alt Right will not serve as a tool of White Nationalist entryism and outreach if we drive out everyone who is not a White Nationalist. Converts, by definition, don’t already believe what we believe. Thus purging the Alt Right of people who are not already White Nationalists is ultimately self-defeating.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to go forth into battle and make this concept of the Alternative Right the dominant one. That is all.” – https://counter-currents.com/2016/08/the-alt-right-means-white-nationalism/
I strongly believe, that Counter-Currents can provide a high-quality “Alt Right” product and service.
The Yockey bio. is with Arktos; the Yockey MSS collection is with C-C; two completely different books.
Will World in Flames include The Proclamation of London or not? I think it was remarked in the above podcast that it would include all of Francis Parker Yockey’s writings except for Imperium and The Enemy of Europe.
Yes
I’m reading “Dreamer of the Day”, the Yockey biography by Coogan right now. It’s not too bad as far as lefty journalism goes. However, after recently reading two Céline biographies, I may be desensitized to dishonesty in the investigation of a man’s ideas.
I’m anxious to read Bolton’s collection and have pen and high-lighter ready.
Unlike his influence Spengler, Yockey led an intriguing life. In a way, Yockey was an Evolian man-of-action but flawed. I mean flawed in the most pathetically human sense, as a man damned to live and die beneath the rank of the Gods. Maybe I’m just proceeding, in my first reading of Yockey’s life, at the base level accessible to all: the level of drama. And I might add very good drama with beautiful women, a rare artistic gift as a piano prodigy, and the legacy of a roguish father to live down.
Yockey seems to have something for everybody: a brilliant mind and a flawed character. In time, he may emerge as a racial icon with vertical breadth. Someone who appeals to all generations. Someone who a guy can study and restudy at 25, 35, 45 years old and upwards into pristine ideation.
In any case, I’ve recently listened to Alex Fontana’s interview with Margot Metroland. Not enough was said about her real-life experience with Yockey’s milieu. Rather than belabor Margot with unique insights into Yockey’s work and character, I think a relaxed reflection on the times would be most beneficial. I’m suggesting a Counter Currents interview, previous to the Centennial Dinner, in which Margot relates her broad experience on the Underground Right. All I ever heard about in Detroit was the Underground Left: Kerouac, Ginsberg, Jackson Pollack, Miles Davis, John Coltrane and all that jazz. Margot would excel at putting Yockey in context.
That sounds great. Will ask Margot.
