On Saturday, April 11, I will be speaking at the London Forum. My talk is on “The Ideal Conservative Freemasonry” of Gotthold Ephraim Lessing. Other speakers are Kevin MacDonald, Mark Weber, Paul Fromm, and Hugh MacDonald.
This event is not open to the public, but if you are known to me and are interested in getting on the guest list, please contact me at [email protected].
I think of this as more of a listening tour than a speaking one, as Hugh MacDonald and I will be interviewing a number of English writers and activists. Watch for these interviews at Counter-Currents Radio.
This visit was made possible by a generous donation from a longtime supporter. I wish to thank him and the London Forum. I will write up a report on the trip when it is over.
Thank you for your loyal readership and support,
Greg Johnson

Missed you by 3 days… Maybe next time. Good Luck
This talk about Lessing was a real “blast from the past” for me – because I studied Lessing’s most famous play, Minna von Barhelm, for German A-level at school. I was only 17, and we were grappling with a foreign language, so the fact that it is still the most popular play ever in Germany (plus any facts about the author) were way out of our remit.
We were also too young to really appreciate WHY this play is eternal. Greg was focusing on Lessing’s views on proper Freemasonry (i.e. the type that originated with the Guilds of Tradesmen and Craftsmen in Medieval Europe, not what we know as Freemasonry today which contains no master masons or carpenters or proper workers at all). But of course his plays are connected, because they are part of the same extraordinary person.
I intend to say more about “Minna” when Greg reports further on Lessing and the Forum – but for the moment am still wallowing in the feeling of being 17 again and exploring a foreign language – always a good idea at any age, keeps you on your toes.
Greg certainly kept us all on our toes at the Forum, not just me – he was like the large glass of Heineken I saw someone clutching (don’t know where they got it) – reaching the parts other things cannot reach. This was due to the overall theme of his talk – but I will stop here for the time being and see what HE thinks the overall theme of his talk was before launching into my take on it. In case I am up the creek without a paddle as I have an awful tendency to do this.
Yes it was a good talk, was it not Edith. May have been me with the Heineken, though I left mine to the last speech. Greg, you seemed to leave the after-chat very early, saw you sail past and made a mental note to come over in a bit and renew our earlier chat from the time before, but then you seemed to be gone. Perhaps next time. Hope you had a productive time in London and on your additional travels.
It is always good to read a reference to E. Michael Jones and his great book, The Jewish Revolutionary Spirit. After reading this and a few issues of CW magazine, I finally can see how the puzzle pieces fit together.
