The US ruling elites are no longer very WASPy. That must be why the D’s increasingly target the Christian Fundamentalists as the main enemy. The clash seems mainly tribal/cultural since the two groups seem to have no significant policy differences outside “gay marriage.” Most Fundie churches are enthusiastic about mass non-white, low-skill immigration and miscegenation.
Am I missing something?
“Fundies” are enthusiastic about whatever makes them feel holier-than-thou. This is actually a good thing. Like the white Marxists, they are already energized and militant. Its just a matter of redirecting all that self-righteous energy toward white self assertion.
