Why I Never Gave Up on Women

I think I know that woman! She took my job!
Definitely one of C-C’s more pointless postings.
The point was to amuse.
Also, the point is to throw light on one possible technique of internet trolling.
Morons, or apparent ones, might be a very clever tool indeed.
Now I’m off to check comments at TOO.
Interestingly enough, there is a known disinformation/troll technique called “play dumb.”
Lew, can you send the whole list?
Greg, I’ve seen this list few places across the interwebs, including on kooky sites like Vigilant Citizen and sites that are probably themselves dedicated to spreading disinformation (911 truth). This copy is from the Vigilant Citizen web site which I read for entertainment (the guy sees masonic symbolism everywhere). Although the VC hosting site may be a bit kooky with a lot of nutty, off-the-wall comments, I think anyone who has spent any time debating trolls will recognize some of these techniques.

Thanks
Oh, I recognize that troll technique from many discussion on the JQ (and evolution/creationism); here used by Brett Stevens:

(Btw, pointless? This was brilliant, not least because it is so very true.)
Lighten up, dude. We’re allowed to laugh sometimes.
My favorite sketch from Jam!
She wasn’t so thick . She beat Big Brother at his own game.
Precisely.
My interests converge once again on C-C! It’s like you guys read my mind sometimes. Chris Morris is a very dark, very funny British comedian who is well worth checking out. It will not be for everyone but if you like odd, artsy, British humor you will enjoy his other stuff too. He also came out recently with a comedy about Muslim suicide bombers. I haven’t seen it yet but if that strikes you as a subject with comedic potential then you might like him. (I know nothing about his personal life–he is a notorious recluse. Nor do I get any sense of his politics. He seems mostly to just have a scorched earth policy toward pop culture.)
