Well-chosen examples, but these people – one of whom, Brzezinski, I used to know back in the day – aren’t all that different from the rest of us. Differences in levels of aggression and social positioning aside, they simply have Higher Ends in mind and genuinely believe that the End justifies the means. To win, we had better start thinking like them.
Pathocrats? It’s more like Psychopathocrats. We have psychopathocracy ruling over us today.
I believe “psychopaths”,that is ruthless, evil persons with no moral scruples existed through human history. Some of them may have been “idealist” following that the end justifies the means. It is possible that in societies where money “celebrity status” is equivalent to honour, where opulence not austerity confers a status ,where meaning of heroism has been so perverted and debased, the conditions are favourable for “psychopaths”.
True heroes of the past who sacrificed for their tribes or people have been gradually erased from the collective memory ,or the past has been elucidated to us by the deconstructionists, then no wonder leave many people confused.
Shakespeare summed up these Pathocrats best when he had one of his characters exclaim how surprised he was for how little men sold their souls for.
While individual psychopaths sell their soul and use others as a means to an end, if a group of people had a vision of an end they wish to accomplish, wouldn’t they all become that means to that end and make decisions on each individual’s capacities to carry it out? Most people see just horizontally, western man has seen both vertically and horizontally. That is why they are so great. Agreeing on the vision may pose a problem if every man wants to be the alpha.
Just musing. A very habit of mine.

I discovered Schell years ago & he’s never failed to impress me.
He’s obviously not your typical Youtube video intellectual. I know he’s not Greg Johnson based on his opinion of the Nazis.
So… Who is he?
