Dear Friends,

I want to begin by thanking our donors. There are now 27 individuals making monthly donations to Counter-Currents, up from 23 last month, and seven additional donors have sent non-recurring donations. That is 34 people. Thank you for helping us to survive and grow.

1. The Vanguard

The 34 individuals who have made donations to Counter-Currents are just over 10% of the people who are on this mailing list, and the mailing list is a small fraction of our regular readers. We call the group of people who have made, or pledged to make, donations of $120 or more in a year “the Vanguard”: they went first. They did not wait to follow others. There are 31 so far, which is about 10% of the 315 people on this list.

If you have been thinking about supporting our efforts, now is the time to begin. Consider beginning at just $10/month (the price of 2 visits to Starbucks).

You can make two different types of donations:

To make a donation, click https://counter-currents.com/donate/ [2]

One incentive to join the Vanguard is that we have decided to limit the deluxe hardcover edition of our annual journal North American New Right to 200 numbered copies, which will be available only to Vanguard members, i.e., donors who give $120 or more in a given year, either in lump sums or by monthly donations.

The donation page also explains other incentives available to monthly donors: https://counter-currents.com/donate/ [2]

2. The Amazon.com Affiliate Program

I also want to thank those of you who have been using Counter-Currents affiliate links to make your purchases at Amazon.com. If you follow one of these links and make a purchase, Amazon.com gives Counter-Currents a referral commission at no additional cost to you.

In March, 134 items were ordered this way, and Counter-Currents received just over $170 in commissions, 7% of the purchase price. This is particularly impressive, given that only a small percentage of our readers are actually using these linksonly around 10% of the people on this newsletter list. (This is an estimate. Amazon.com protects your privacy even when you buy through an affiliate link.) If everyone reading this were to take part in this program, our support would grow considerably.

If you have Amazon.com bookmarked on your computer, click the following link and then replace your bookmark with the page that appears. This will allow you to go directly to Amazon.com, and Counter-Currents will receive the same commission.

This link takes you to the Non-Fiction Books page. For some reason, Amazon.com will not allow us to construct a link to their home page. Also, we cannot build links to Amazon.com stores outside the US. If there is a particular Amazon.com page to which you usually go first, email me [4] and let me know, and I will happily construct a custom affiliate link for you. It is that important that we make it easy for you to participate.

Note: The affiliate link gives Counter-Currents a commission on anything you buy on Amazon.com, on any page, so long as you enter Amazon through one of the links.

3. Our Newest Title

Andy Nowicki’s novella The Columbine Pilgrim is now in print. Click here [5] to order your copy today. Here is James O’Meara’s review [6].

[8]4. Our Next Title

We are very pleased to announce that our next title is a reprint of Ward Kendall’s dystopian science-fiction novel Hold Back This Day. The release date is April 30th, 2011, and you can pre-order it by clicking here [9].

5. New in Our Bookstore

We now have The Jewish Strategy, Revilo Oliver’s most concise and penetrating discussion of the Jewish Question, in stock. For more information, click here [10].

6. Our Blog Continues to Thrive

In January we published 72 posts and  comments. Since we went online on June 11, 2010, we have published a total of 741 online pieces and 2,853 comments.

7. Our Readership and Web Traffic Continue to Rise

Our full traffic statistics are printed below, but I can’t resist mentioning that in March, we had 62,077 visits (up from 61,519 in February) from 29,768 unique visitors (up from 29,737), who looked at 220,053 pages (up from 213,121 ) and racked up an astonishing 2,485,001 “hits” (up from 2,081,558).

Even though we have had growth across the board, in terms of visits and unique visitors, it has been small. So it would be true to say that Counter-Currents is at a plateau. But bear in mind that in March, I began two new policies: (1) limiting reprints from other sites and focusing on original material, and (2) not adding new material on weekends. This caused readership on the weekends to dip slightly, but readership during the weekdays continued to rise measurably.

Furthermore, Counter-Currents has been online long enough to observe a pattern of growth, followed by plateaus, followed by continued growth.

8. I Continue to Write

In addition to my editorial work, I personally wrote 12 new posts, four of them quite substantial (for a total of 69), and did 2 new translations (for a total of 37), as well a scanned, edited, and revised two additional translations, one from Evola, the other a short book by Carl Schmitt, Land and Sea, which we published in nine parts.

9. Our Articles Continue to be Reprinted

In March, 8 more of our articles were published on Robert Steuckers’ Euro-Synergies [11], the leading European New Right blog. A total of 88 articles have now been reprinted at Euro-Synergies, more than 11.8% of our total output of 741 posts. For a full report, click here [12].

Euro-Synergies, furthermore, is not the only site reprinting our material. See also The West’s Darkest Hour [13] and Thoughts Against Time [14].

10. Our Articles Continue to be Translated

In March, 12 more translations of articles from Counter-Currents appeared in German and Czech, and others may well be out there. We now count 61 translations into German, Russian, and Czech. We would love to encourage more translations. Since websites come and go, and we do not want these translations to be lost, we are bringing them online here. For a full report, click here [15].

12. What’s Coming Next

Our forthcoming books are:

Other books in the works include titles by Julius Evola, Alain de Benoist, Edmund Connelly, and Trevor Lynch, plus new titles from Michael O’Meara and Greg Johnson.

All told, March was an exciting month and there is every reason to think that Counter-Currents — and our movement as a whole — will continue to grow as the system around us continues to decline. It is an illustration of the principle that those who fight for the Golden Age live in it today.

Thank you again for your loyal readership and support.

Yours sincerely,

Greg Johnson
