North American New Right/
Counter-Currents Site Launched
Press Release
The North American New Right/ Counter-Currents website officially goes online with this post.
North American New Right is a journal of ideas. It offers a critique of liberal modernity in North America in the light of Traditionalism and the ideas of the European New Right.
North American New Right includes original articles, translations, interviews, and poetry, as well as reviews of books, films, and music.
North American New Right is published in two formats.
First, all submissions will appear online as they come in. If you or someone you know might be interested in writing for North American New Right, now is the time. Please examine our submission guidelines and contact Greg Johnson, the Editor-in-Chief, at [email protected].
Second, at the end of every year, the best of the online journal will be published as a handsome paperback volume in the manner of Alexandria and Tyr.
North American New Right will not be a standard “webzine,” which builds readership through frequent updates (lab rat presses lever; lab rat receives pellet; lab rat presses lever again). In search of the daily update, there is the perennial temptation to reprint material from other sites. We wish to keep that to a minimum, reprinting only the work of our editors and frequent contributors.
Naturally, we hope that we will have interesting original material five days a week. (We take weekends off, regardless.) Naturally, we want you all to make this your “Home” page.
But realistically, the best way for you to keep up with North American New Right is to sign up for our RSS feed, which will send you an email every time the site is updated. You should also sign up for our email list, for occasional emails containing news and special offers.
This website also offers space for reader comments. We will edit and approve all comments, so don’t expect them to appear immediately. Comments posted during weekends will not appear until Monday.
Counter-Currents is the publishing imprint that will bring out North American New Right and other volumes.
Counter-Currents/North American New Right is the collaborative effort of Greg Johnson, the Editor-in-Chief, and Michael J. Polignano, the Managing Editor and Webmaster.
Welcome to our site!

What happend to Joshua Buckley of Tyr? Did he disappear when Tyr stopped publishing?
Josh Buckley is fine and working on the fourth volume of Tyr.
Congratulations Dr. Johnson!
I’ll add North American New Right right away to my blog’s list of recommended sites.
Cheers,
Cesar Tort (a.k.a., “Chechar”)
Let me be the first to congratulate you fine gentlemen on your latest venture!
I look forward to using your services, i.e., being shaken down for every last penny for shiny new books on—what the media terms—racial hatred! (Oy vey!)
Congratulations and best of luck with your new endeavor! Looking forward to more of your writing. I always enjoyed your writing. Very thought provoking and artfully done. Are you going to have a paper journal like TOQ? It may seem passe but I really do like holding paper. Can underline it. Look up references. Annotate it. Build up a library. I subscribe to TOQ for that reason as well.
I guess I didn’t read carefully enough. So, once yearly you will publish a paper edition including the best of. Looking forward to it!
There is a real education to be had here. Over the next decade, I’m going to try to read the whole site, all that I’ve missed, while keeping up with new material.
Thanks for this. A journey begins …
